I struck out on finding the gypsum at Lowes : ( I felt fairly certain I could find it there. How annoying. I might be able to find it at this florist/small garden center, but I think that is unlikely. I'll try looking there anyway, since I have to run errands in that general area tomorrow. I did go ahead and use some gritty mix sans gypsum for some succulent cuttings, just to get them into something for now. Hopefully that won't be a terrible thing, but I figured succulents could tough it out for a while.

Some of the posts I have read suggested leaving the lid off and allowing it to dry a bit to kill the mites. I have a WF, and I only have 1 working tray right now. I have three layers of moist newspaper on top of the bedding and then the lid. Should I get rid of the newspaper? The directions that came with it suggested it, but I am wondering if it's part of the mite problem. Every time I take off the lid, there are about 12 worms on top of the newspaper and there is always 1 dead one covered in mites. Thanks, Gina

Not sure what Wolf you have. I have a DF Wolf range. The best way to figure out how to use your temp probe (which I use every time I roast...I really like the feature!) is to follow the instructions in the owner's manual. The instructions are very specific and easy to follow. You can also download the owner's manual from the Wolf website. The knob that shows you your oven temperature (on the range) is where the temperature of the probe is tracked, as the meat roasts. The hidden control panel is where you do the initial set-up. There's a "probe" button you have to select at the start of the process. I don't think you'll have any trouble figuring out how to use the tem probe after you've read the instructions. When the meat reaches the desired interal temperature you have selected, the oven chimes. Just like when you reach the time limit on anything you bake.

I like the toile mixed with checks, dots, plaids, stripes, florals and pin dots. Make sure patterns are not same sized. I love toiles mixed with all the following. All kinds of prints can go with all kinds of prints as long as the colors are in keeping with the rest of the colors in the room and with one another. If you have a check, make sure the second check is much larger or much smaller. Florals can be small, tiny florals and the second floral a big floral. Pin dots can be mixed with large polka dots. Plaids can be mixed with checks as long as the plaids are very large and the checks small. Large stripes with small stripes. All need to have a common denominator of color. They can all be used in the same room. I don't like that Punky Brewster look. I would have to take Valium to live with that but others love it which means there is something for everyone and it certainly is neat to look at but for me, not to live with.
