Hmmm September was my 38th wedding anniversary. I have tupperware wedding gifts still in use.

I have some going back at least to 1973. The oldest piece I actually use is an avocado green cake taker. It's still in like new condition.

I have a set of the bright orange stacking canister sets in my kitchen that are used for snacks and cookies.

I love my old Tupperware. Some is better than the new stuff.

The oldest that I can age is an avocado pickle holder that someone gave me as a shower gift in 1984, so 27 years ago. But I also have a few salt shakers, popsicle makers and drinking glasses that are older than that, I just have no idea of the age.

I always heard it had a lifetime warranty and you could return it when it got damaged and such. Does anyone know if that is true?

the oldest pieces were bought in 1961, Three bowls and lids came together, they are pink, blue, and white. Lids were replaced about 10 years ago. Guess they are guaranteed forever. Gave the cake and pie carrier, s and p shakers, and glasses to goodwill many years ago. Haven't bought any in more than 20 years. Have lots of odd sizes and still have all the lids.

BUT....
since styles have changed over the decades, you may not get the exact thing as the exchange.

I had a brown set of canisters and a couple of the lids cracked. Got the set replaced with white with blue lids and am still using them. That was at least 20 years ago and the brown set was a wedding gift and I have been married 40 years!

I had a 2 cup measuring cup that was replaced by Tupperware
years after I bought it. I think it had a slight tear at the top.
That's probably the only piece I have now.

I have the lettuce keeper I bought in 1969. I have the cake carrier but I mainly use the top to mix dressing in for Christmas and Thanksgiving. It's a great size for stuff like that. Rubbermaid and Sterilite came along and I doubt I would ever buy any more Tupperwear. I never hear of any "Tupperwear parties." I don't even know if they still have them.

I have some storage containers from the 80's, my DM has a lot of much older stuff.

I did return one large bowl that I had only had about a year when it broke in half after being dropped maybe 2 feet. It was full of coleslaw too... what a mess that was on my floor. I did have my receipt still, but I wouldn't think you would need it since Tupperware is marked. I got a brand new bowl so I was happy... the stuff isn't cheap! I think I paid about $35. for a large 3 bowl set with lids.

Salt n pepper shakers that were shower gifts in 1963' still using them. Big measuring cup too.

I have quite a bit I sold tupperware in the 70s.You get a suit case full of Tupperware to be a sales person.

I was a Tupperware dealer back in 1972-73, and still have most of the Tupperware products that came in my kit.

One of my favorite pieces is the gravy shaker thingy - I couldn't make gravy without it. I love Tupperware!!

I have the Tupperware celery keeper, and it sure keeps celery fresh for a long time. The bottom is green and lid is white. It is oblong.

I bought some about 1973. We moved into a new townhouse development and everyone kept having Tupperware parties so that we could all meet. I haven't bought much since then, but I could use a popsicle set for the grandsons. I guess I threw mine out.

I was a Tupperware dealer too, back in the early 70's! I have a ton of Tupperware left that I had then. I also have new pieces because my in-laws have gone through a round of Tupperware parties during the last couple of years. And, we've bought some really nice pieces at garage sales too. It is terribly expensive now, so the garage sale items are a real find!

Somebody brought up this subject a few months ago and someone posted that the older Tupperware is dated. So when I got my pastry sheet out I looked, and sure enough it's dated 1977. I must've brought it with me from Indiana. I wonder if today's newer Tupperware is as good as the old. I think you can buy it on-line now.

Got a few pieces my mother had that would be 1960s vintage and a couple things I got at garage sales or auctions so they're quite old too. I like the small salt & pepper shakers. Used to use them a lot but now I buy more specialized seasonings and just use the containers in which they came.

Gosh, I never even think about my tupperware, but I know I haven't bought any since I was newly married. So mine must be close to 25 years old. I also wonder if it's made as well nowadays. What a great product. When DD was a little 2 year old, she used to love to sit on the kitchen floor and pull all the tupperware out of the cabinet and sit on the floor surrounded by tupperware, playing with it!

We use the pickle container every day.

I have the cake taker of my mothers, and she died in '73. She always used it to hold her fresh buns. I have a navy blue canister set I got for my wedding shower on 5-1-1982, and it is still in use!

I have bought both the kids a 'pickle picker upper' at garage sales! They grew up with it and wanted their own! Also bought the microwave steamers for them at garage sales/thrift stores.

I use the great big containers to store my flour and sugar. I have never had weevils because they have such a nice, tight seal.

the 2 pieces i use the most are my old yellow collanders...but they're beginning to peel so really need to replace them...we've been married 41 year superbowl sunday...that's when i bought it...

Like Sunshines, I still have the celery keeper but I use it to marinade cooked asparagus. I have a newer set of the mixing bowls that I bought about 10 years ago. Over the years, I used a lot of my Tupperware for camping. It got discolored and I gave it to Goodwill. I wish I still had the cake taker.

I have some my MIL had from when it first came out, whenever that was.
My favorite thing is a little cake tester she got at a Tupperware party.

I have two pieces that belonged to my mother that are dated 1950 and has that little tupperware "seal" on them. I consider them heirlooms now... lol

I have no idea. I'll look for dates when I get home. I've never purchased new Tupperware but I find pieces at yard sales and Goodwill and pick them up very cheaply. I have a nice condiment set - 3 lidded containers that fit into a stand with ladles. My sister gave me her Tupperware bread box. I love that piece - it's great for storing leftover take out pizza.
