I try a new early tomato every year. This year, Glacier was my earliest. They're OK. Early tomatoes don't impress me much. The best early I've grown was Matina. It was better to me than Bloody Butcher or Stupice. Personally, though, although it may not be considered an "early" tomato Jaune Flammee is always less than a week behind my earliest tomatoes, but even the first Jaune Flammee off the plant is as good to me as the best late season tomato. There is no early tomato that can compete with it for flavor, IMO. I try one new early variety every year just to extend the season a week, but I'd rather have more space in my garden for late season tomatoes, which are far superior in flavor.

My grandson asked me if I even own a dress, he's never seen me wear one! I laugh at the designer shows. I just can't see me dressing up in heels to go out and feed the chickens, feed the sheep and work in the greenhouse and the garden. I had a friend in college who occasionally wore a dress so she could prove to people she had legs and not just blue jeans with feet. Isn't that what shorts are for?

When Richard came out of the closet a few years back it was the last I heard. He has an impressive work life to say the least. # Television Appearances # Series # Dr. James Kildare, Dr. Kildare, NBC, 1961-66 # Dr. Daniel Kulani, Island Son, CBS, 1989 # Movies # King Edward VIII, The Woman I Love, 1973 # F. Thanks to this thread, I started watching Broadchurch. The second season is just coming to an end in the UK; The newest episode is available every monday night at Couchtuner.eu, which is the free streaming site I have been using. I have also watched two seasons of "The Village", another UK period drama. In some respects it is better than Downton. "Luther" is very, very good, but very dark. I have been enjoying the Doctor Who spinoff series Torchwood, and one US produced sci-fi thing The Last Ship. I really enjoyed "Welcome to Sweden" and I hope they make a second batch of it. Casey
