Maybe a modern bridge faucet? This is a nice one from Rohl but costly I'm sure-- others might be Kohler Purist. Side spray might be another consideration.

That's a beautiful faucet. the issue is that I would have to reach over the sink to get to the hot and cold and I do want a spray option this time round. I am not keen on a separate spray mount as there isn't much room in the cabinet. Thank you for your suggestions.

I like the taller one better than the first. With the high set sink (which looks great, btw) that shorter faucet will look shorter yet.

Got it. Tapmaster is probably the way to go then if you find a fixture you like. The Euro model 1775 is pretty inconspicuous.

Your sink and counter are beautiful. Just curious why you selected a sink that sits above the counter?

Looking at your picture again... clean lines and simple/modern is what speaks to me.
How's about something like this?

linelle, I saw a photo of a swedish kitchen where the sink was mounted like ours is. It looked terrific so I asked for our sink to be mounted like this too. Practically, I thought with such a deep sink to undermount at a typical counter height of 36" I would be bending down a lot. I wasn't that much of a fan of counter height mounts as I had an old double ss at counter height and the temptation to just wipe everything into the sink is too great and food and scrum gets caught and we were digging out and resealing. Drove me crazy! I like how the sink looks and wanted to see more of it.
This over mount to me is a comfortable height. Filling a past pot, washing a lasagna pan, lifting dishes and my beagle in and out of sink is easier now than when I had the counter mount sink. I am 5'5" and my husband and son are 6' and 6'1" and they love it.
I will look at the Brizio beautiful deedles. The issues is that it is 2,5" from the counter to the lever and the lever engages forward towards the sink. My sink is 2 1/4" above the counter. The lever would me .5" above the sink...it may be too tight and to have the lever fully engage it will hit the sink. To move it back 3" rather than the standard 2" cause the spout reach to shorten and it's a longer reach over the sink.
This has been the design and function challenge of mounting the sink this way.
How did you place the Brizio into the photo? WOuld love to know how to do that!

homeimp, those are good reasons. It will definitely keep you from sweeping everything into the sink as I do.

Can the Brizio lever be moved to the front so that all you need is a side-to-side action? Next faucet I buy will have the lever in front so that's it's conveniently accessible for either hand.

I just grabbed the image into paint and the cropped and shrunk it (obviously not enough). Say, just a thought and you might not like it, buuuuttt, would it be possible to get a chunk of your counter made to the approx. length of your sink and mount it behind the sink? Then you'd have a 'deck' of sorts to mount your faucet through and the height of the handle wouldn't be an issue. I guess the depth might be a factor in attaching it, though. And maybe that would look clumsy anyway. Hmm. You could swivel the faucet to the front, as suggested. People on here seem to think that is a more functional placement for the handle anyway. There is a perfect faucet for you... do you like those restaurant kind with the curly hose? Those handles tend to be higher on the stem.

Well, fwiw here is a pic of my faucet cropped into your sink BUT I just measured and it's only 2" from the deck to the bottom of the handle. But, there more than a couple of this style out there if you like it... something will have a higher handle and be perfect.

I'm just cropping and pasting using the Paint program in Windows. Pretty much designed out my whole kitchen in paint. That's as computer-techie as I am. But, it works.

going in the direction you are going deedles. Can you do me the favour of painting in the KWC Ono HIgh flex if you have some spare time? The KWC Ono High FLex has a lever mount about 5" and the KWC Supremo extended has a lever mount at 4 1/4".
I have Mac and don't know of a compatible program. That paint program has got to be a great tool to design and play around with to see what works in a space.

I looked at the Blanco Culina and have now moved away from the KWC Ono High flex. First, others have noted that the semi pro part - the flex does not extended below the base of the faucet so you cannot really rinse out your sink. It also was reported to be a bit stiff.
I am now deciding between the Blanco Culina and the KWC Supremo extended.
DOes anyone own either? I am interested in hearing about how you use the faucet and if you are happy?
