We have GIANT MUTANT DEER..they eat my daffodils, even my iris when they come up in the spring. The deer ring our doorbell and run away, laughing. They ate 15 roses down to stumps and then TP'd our yard. In short, they are mean. I tried planting garlic around some roses. They just left that alone and proceeded to defoliate the bushes. So now I take one egg, some milk, chopped garlic and mix in a watering can and pour it over my bushes and fruit trees. I have been doing this religiously for the past few weeks and so far it is working....

Try Seed Savers Exchange. If you join as a member, then you get a catalogue of all the members who grow seeds of thousands of veggies and fruits and they list which seeds they grow and have for sale/trade. I haven't been a member in years, since I don't have enough sunny space to do much veggie gardening, but you might find lots of wonderful things to grow that you won't find anywhere else. Good luck. I planted 7 Galeux d'Eysines seeds last May & now have at least 25 huge beautiful squash on the vine. Prolific & still going strong in the Rockies mid-Sept. A wondrous delicate flavored, French of course, pumpkiny squash. I have loads of seeds.

Holy moley - those blue eyes go right through me. They are all lovely but that blue-eyed baby gets to me.

Those are the perfect size pictures and your cats are so handsome! I love the markings on Rex. Jazz looks like our Sammie.

Thanks for the nice comments on my guys. I wanted to call Rex, " Blaze", because of the white streak up his head, but hubby named him Rex, as in "wrecks" the house" LOL!!

He is the one they are pretty sure has liver cancer, but he is still here at 4 months after they told me that he probably had 3 months. So we just keep on going.

I think all the good thoughts I have received for them here keep them healthy and happy!!
