Close to moving in so thought I would share...

Hi!

I have been coming to this forum for over a year now and love getting inspiration from some of the prettiest homes I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Wel,l now I would like to hopefully add some ideas for others.

Our home was designed by us and built by my Husband's hands, well a good deal of it anyway. It has been quite a long process and very hard. I don't know if I would ever want to do this again but I think it is in my Husbands blood.

Beautiful house, Stephanie. I bet his girls are very proud of him for building their new home! Their room is great. Who wouldn't love the loft. I'm impressed you already have a mirror in the powder room. We've been here 1 month today and don't have one in our powder or master bath yet. Waiting until I find just the right ones! lol

Stephanie, I enjoyed all your pictures, thanks so much for posting them. Lovely house and an especially lovely family too. Love your big porch and the stone. How lucky are you to have a husband that can (will?) do all of that? You are one lucky lady.

I don't have room in my greenhouse Marie, but if I did I would snaffle some of yours in a heart beat. These things are crazy. I keep saying no, but somehow I keep starting more. What can I say. Crazy, He!. I wish it where easier for me to send plants to many of my friends here on GW from here (Canada). Many moons ago a friend gave us so many plants or cuttings and now the sharing and giving is my time to give back. This is the part of gardening that makes it so special to me. Brandy I really had some nice tomatoes on my plants I planted for winter too. I just got to lacy to haul them in also lol. I would buy your plants for that price in a heartbeat. Rigo but then only RED light ...it might help thost tomatoes to ripen faster lol. Oh NO NO red light . hahaha I just remembered way back when I was still innocent roflmao. I was like 30 something hahahahaha I put a RED lightbulb in the lightfixture by my front door. My girlfriend had to tell me first what that really means! lol. I am suprised that the MP's did not come by and arrest me for doing that ON POST roflmao. Make it a colorful chain Brandy lol Lucy

I am a follower of Christ, but he did not suffer for me. He didn't "pay a price" to "atone for my sins" because the creator is the very definition of love, forgiveness and mercy and by that nature does not require penal substitution, and certainly not blood sacrifice. Human beings embroiled in political turmoil killed the body of Jesus. And still the creator forgave with an eternal love and compassion that IS the redemption. Prayer takes on countless forms. Prayer can be a verbal string, a majestic song, calloused hands on the skin of a drum, a groan, a wordless, soundless inner expression. Who are any of us to limit the boundless ways that humans commune with the mystery of the divine? These are my beliefs. You do not need to agree. I have found myself in a number of places along my spiritual path, including a darkness of my soul and many years amid the very traditional, conservative ideologies that I no longer adhere to. The bottom line is that God loves all of us so unimaginably deeply, no matter who or where or what we are. The kind of love that seeks us out and draws us close and allows us to discover true meaning in very different ways and circumstances. We are all loved beyond comprehension.

I'm impressed with your vision and execution and think you have a wonderful, unique house. I like the floor plan, as well, and hope you and your family enjoy many happy years there!

WOW!!! Everything about your home is lovely. I think your window design is beautiful. Your color choices are perfect. You did a great job on the stairs. And is there room for "one more girl" in that suite? How lucky your daughters are!!!!

Oh My! Your home truly is BEAUTIFUL. I love how your home is so open and the great traffic flow. Your colors blend and flow so well together. You have a knack at designing and decorating. Your daughter's room is any littl girls paradise. Everything is great, I wouldn't change a thing. Mostly again, I love how open your home is, the flow. I love the view down the front open hall to front door. I just plain love your home. You are all a lucky family and you look so happy. You will have many blessed years there.
