A few years ago, I gave several members name tags I found in the MSN Groups. Those links I had are now broken with those groups either closing down or they began requiring membership, so I deleted them. No doubt there are still some there though.

Noinwi, You got it!!!!!!!!!! Mine was the "clown" variety. Thank you very much!!!! My friend in PA is actually checking all the Walmart stores up there to see if they have them to get a name! Steve, Meader is not self-fertile; however, it is a member of the Early Golden/Garretson family, members of which have a genetic propensity for occasionally having a branch here and there that produces male flowers which can fertilize the female flowers on the rest of the tree - which will result in seeded fruits. Meader will often set seedless fruits in the PNW, but that's a climatic fluke - in the east, you'll either get overproduction of seeded fruit(translating into small fruit size) or no fruit production at all if there is no 90-chromosome persimmon pollen around to fertilize the female flowers on your tree. If there are no native 90-chromosome male persimmons in your area, I'd advise planting one - or even better yet, one of the polygamodioecious(bisexual male) selections, such as Szukis or Claypool F-100. Like gene, I also have some deep-woods persimmons on the farm here that are probably 60 ft tall - and 40+ ft to the first remaining branch; but open-grown persimmons are more likely to take on a spreading orchard-tree type of growth habit, not unlike a standard apple tree. I'm not tech-savvy enough to post photos here, but if you'll send me an email, I've got some photos of heavy-bearing open-grown persimmon trees, and some close-ups of the flowers that I can send as email attachments.

I remember I offered to somebody cuttings from my one and only NOID pink brug but they did not contacted me. It may have been you, I do not know. If you want you can have a few cuttings. Send me an email. I'll cut mine in a few weeks. Here in Ca the weather is still nice and my brug has lots of flowers and buds. Pat

Anita, My favorite saying is "Grab your boot straps and keep on going". I say it to myself regularly and my kids (now mostly grown) say it back to me when things aren't going well. I had a similar problem with a surveyor several years back during the housing boom. At first I was panicked, then I decided to start calling other surveyors. It turns out that the first one I called had actually spoken to my guy that morning and was trying to figure out who all of the sick guy's clients were. We ended up with a seamless transition. Start calling now to find another cabinet-maker and ask if they can do the job for close to the same price as your original guy. You might be pleasantly surprised. Good luck!

Sue, as soon as clicked on your link my avg came up and said, i had the js\psyme virus. Don't know what's going on but i did get it cleaned. I have that same link list but it's an old link. Didn't know if you or anyone else had this problem. I use IE which is not to smart but i like it.
That is a real cute place to get sigs.

If you go to gifworks.com you can make your own, or add it to pictures. Just follow the directions and learn as you go!! Not difficult, really.

This is pretty ugly,but I just grabbed one of the fonts.

Patches, I have not had any problems from that link. So I checked it again and still no problem, so I ran Housecall to be sure.

Housecall said "HouseCall did not find any potential threats on your computer."

I'm sorry you had a problem, and hope if anyone else used that link they would let me know whether or not they had a problem.
