Here are 2 of Syds senior pics......I liked the close up and Syd wanted the other one posted LOL her hair shows up better in mine and I wanted you to see her teeth now toni....they are looking soooo great! Stacy

Rosey, you're so funny. lol. I'll accept your first sentence as a compliment. lol I think more a lot more than two houses would need bulldozing.. Hey, a cow or two sounds perfect! Dairy cows, not the type that's chopped and cooked. Yuck. If we had cows, pigs and chickens they woulnd't end up on our dinner table..lol. If you hear Toni from IL blew up her town, you'll KNOW the who and why Due to Rosey's inspiration. lol. Where did you get the idea midwest houses aren't worth much? Our house might not be, especially since the economy is so messed up, but adjacent towns, south and north of us, are priced in the millions. Do you think a million for a home is inexpensive? If you think it's a bargain, you must have won the Powerball lotto..lol. Most IL cornfields are extinct. It's so sad. I remember as a child, driving little ways out of Chicago. Farms were everywhere. I'm angry at farmers for selling their property, 'fertile land handed down from past generations,' to build more malls! If we drive south, the first cornfield is about 100 miles. If it still exists..we haven't been out that at the minimum of 10-yrs. The only way additional malls will stop being built is if a major disaster ever took place. Hi Wes..duh, I should wear glasses. :) I saw your mounted orchid..bloom is a beauty. However, the flowers look pink/purple. Wes, are you sure you spelled your succulent dish garden correctly? I Googled Dorslenia..no results. Is it possible you mean Dorstenia? Dorstenia is a succulent that could pass for Euphorbia. If you mean Dorstenia, I'm familiar and have a few. They're amazing, love their thick trunks. I admit, I'm not the best orchid gardener. Most of my orchids are plain, old Phaels. They bloom, but as far as other, more difficult orchids, I'm lost. Several years ago I bought baby, baby orchids. I'd have to get the tags for ID's, but they're still small. It's possible, they're not getting enough light, humidity or fertilizer. I also admit, the only time they get fertilized is when I think about it.. So, my bad. :) Ironically, my Phaels did better when they were potted in actual soil..now most are in orchid bark. Toni, I bought my rangoon creeper last year from zone 9 tropicals . I asked them whether it is a cutting or seedling they said it is from cutting. I did note expect blooms this year but it is a surprise for me to see the plant bloom so fully. Seedlings take several years to bloom. I bought one stephanotis from TT long time ago that never bloomed for me, I had to get rid of it. The current plant I have is from homedepot where I bought it with buds/blooms. It blooms every year without fail and it is one of the best low maintenance plant I have. Where did you buy your aglalia from? The fertlilizer I user is dyna_gro foliage pro.

Thanks Kath, that pic was taken last summer in front of the one room country school house we used to attend in the early '60's. It has been moved to a historic site along with other country school houses. When we went inside it looked so small compared to how I remembered. We also went back to the farm where we were raised and were able to go inside the house (a neighbor's son bought it and let us go inside, no one is living there now) I wish I hadn't gone inside, it was a mess and again seemed so small..........and I'd been there (when the folks were still living in it) and I was an adult in the '80's. Sorry got off track there. We do have a lot of fun together and try to do special things together over the summer when I'm "home". Diane

Oh, I like them both. The braces are working great. I don't know about you but I'm getting a little nervous about graduation. Getting the party together. Getting my house in order. on and on. I've been sick with ear infection, getting lots of med for over two months now. Finally the last couple of days I'm feeling like getting back into action. Ahhh, where to start??! Bet your excited too Stacy.

Both photos are great, Stacy! I think you should use them both. Give people a choice. Your daughter is a beautiful girl and looks lovely both as a blond and a highlighted brunette. The brunette hair just blew me away though. It looks like it could have been her natural color, only even better because of the highlighting. You're used to seeing her blond so that looks better to you now, but I'm curious about how you'll view the two colors once you've gotten used to the new color (if she keeps it that long).

Her hair here is pretty, but I really like the bruneet better! It is gorgeous and looks real. this doesn't look so natural... but hey, that's just mho..... LOLL not like you asked! lol

Thanks guys....I know toni I am excited about graduation but nervous too....I am not ready for her to leave the nest and she is planning on jumping LOL! It is weird kat cuz she is a natural blonde (strawberry blonde) and her eyebrows are sooo dark....when she was little (I guess cuz I did hair) people would ask me when she was like 4 or 5 if I dyed her hair...I mean come on.....duh..LOL Jodi that is the pic we got big for the house.....IF I can get photobucket to work for me I am going to post my all time fav....I think you will love it also...Stacy

I know how you feel Stacy, about not being ready for her to leave the nest. I felt that so much when my oldest graduated from high school and then took off for college on the other side of the state. For me, at least, by the time she came home from the summer after her freshman year (and worked all summer), I was more ready when she went back for her sophomore year. And I've been good with it ever since, for her as well as for my son (2 1/2 years younger). They are separate entities (from myself), adults, and I am so proud of them. I'm sure it will be the same with Syd.
