Lois, so far, so good. I only store camping mattresses under the guest bed. I am hoping to keep it that way.

The only reason I have them under there: They need/should be stored flat.

The bed in my master bedroom is on a platform with drawers. I keep sheets in the drawers.

Under the bed in the guest room, I keep the screens that go in the windows in that room (the screens are not part of the windows, like normal windows).

Under a twin bed in another room, I have a big piece of foam that's leftover from making cushions. And I'm also storing the glass bowl from my bird bath under there for the winter (nice cushy place for it on top of the foam!).

Yeah, lots of shoes and some books that slid under there by mistake. :-)

My seasonal clothes are stored in flat storage containers under both queen sized beds.
Ya know, according to feng shui, we're not supposed to put anything under the beds. It blocks the flow of.....something.

In my office (spare bedroom), I have all Christmas stuff: wrapping paper, some ornaments I bought last year and forgot about until after Christmas this year, stuff like that...

In the other spare room (DHs office), you'll find - I'm not sure what...but something! I think we have spare wood flooring under that bed. Don't ask!

In the master, we have a comforter and - I'm not sure what else, and I'm too lazy to go look. But yes, there is stuff there, too.

When we built this house, I told DH I was never again going to store anything in the attic and that if what I had wouldn't fit in the house, then I'd know I had too much stuff. I've kept my vow and haven't hauled anything to the attic, but I suspect there are things I could get rid of to make more room under the beds and elsewhere.

There are probably some dust bunnies, but nothing else.

We have stuff under all our beds. Wrapping paper and some out-of-season clothes in the master bedroom, scrapbooking supplies under the guest bed and who knows what under DD's bed.

The only thing I have under my bed is a plastic shoebox of important stuff in case I needed to evacuate with the fires in October. It has my passport, SS Card, pink slip, check book, address book, stamps, address labels, etc. I decided to keep it there. It is so easy now to pay bills, I just grab the box and can write checks out anywhere.

I have my extra display tables and chairs under all three beds.

I even have things stored in the Couch on the Motorhome and under the Queen Bed.

I have an underbed storage container that holds wrapping paper/gift bags, etc.

I have the plastic underbed containers under my bed--they hold my off season clothes.

Just this past summer, I got rid of the storage boxes from under the guest bed (that had been there for over 10 years). They weren't even mine. My sister stored a bunch of stuff here when mom went into her apt. and sis was just moving in with a new guy. Finally made her take back her stuff. So now I've got this lovely empty storage space with nothing in it.......

I have boxes with seasonal clothing under our bed, on my side, at the foot is a box of photos that my niece sent me that belonged to my sister. On DH's side is a pile of old motor repair manuals, nothing that would help any vechicle we have now, but he won't part with them. They're probably antiques by now. lol

In the guest bedroom I had wrapping paper and ribbon. Had to move it from there as DD and two kids had to move in with us and are using that room. Now, she can hide stuff under there.

I'm not the best housekeeper, but I have a "thing" about having "things" under the bed. The only thing under my bed is the little motor that operates the pump for the air for my Select Comfort bed. It is probably dusty now that I think about it!

Under my bed, nothing. Under one of the guest room's bed, I store a couple of boxes full of arts & crafts stuff.

Mostly extra decorative art pictures under both beds. We really do need to weed out and get rid of what hasn't been on the wall in a couple of years.

I bought four risers, a set of rigid plastic cones you stick under the legs of the ned. They lift the bed about eight inches off the floor, so you have ample space to store plastic storage boxes underneath. My DH collects books and magazines and comic books. The four lidded boxes under the bed are filled with his stuff. The only problem is, my dust ruffle is so short you can see underneath. The boxes at least are neat. I also throw my shoes under the bed, it's handy for me when I dress in the morning. Finally, my cat likes to sleep under the bed,where it's warm and dark and cozy.

I used to store our warranties and receipts under the bed in a box, but our dogs kept shoving them out so I no longer have anything there except dust bunnies and an occasional dog.

I used to keep things under the beds.

Funny thing is... when I cleaned all that stuff out (and found proper homes for what I did not get rid of), DH and I slept much better... deeper, uninterrupted sleep.

Anyways, the master bed, guest bed and daughter's bed (she got married November and took everything but the mattresses/frame) have NOTHING underneath. I shudder to think what can be under DS's bed.....

Well, during my kit re-hab, i stored lots of pictures, art. After almost two years, I am finding things I did not remember I owned (older woman here!)! Some really neat stuff, I might add. Such fun to find these treasures. OK, stop laughing............

I don't store things under my bed on purpose, but every time I clean out under it I find dozens of lost toys, socks, calculator, pens, coins, legos, etc. There is only a few inches of clearance and I haven't found a box yet that fits with the lid on. I'd like to store sheets there.

Under DD's bed I store her toys. They are in shallow boxes to pull our like drawers. In DS's room he has a trundle bed. In the other boys' room one has clothing drawers the other had shallow drawers like DD, but the boxes are full of legos.

I'm domestically challenged, I don't dust anywhere.

I have a folding cot under my bed...We don't have a lot of storage here...

I use the beds for my grandkids, when they spend the night.

DH has various computer parts under our bed and we DON'T have a dust ruffle. Every time I walk in there I hate it. Whenever I mention it to him, he gets all weird. Not worth it. So time to get a dust ruffle.

Really well behaved: don't need any feed, don't make messes all over the place.

Don't interrupt my sleep. Don't require much attention/affection.

By the way - I'm to go for an eye test in the morning, and it's 3:00 a.m., so I'd better go lord it over the dust bunnies!.
