Follow the Yellow Brick road!!!! LOL Sorry, maybe you can remove one of the baffels and have a sheet metal fabricator make you some new ones. Unless of course you have a different type of baffle. More info would help. Like markjames says, just what type of equipment are we dealing with here?

For anyone who is/has gone through this Columbia is the maker. Baffles are $65 for a set of 6 - gaskets are sold as a roll - go ask a friend for some and slip them 5 bucks. A 6' pipe can get a local home depot store. Don't be afraid to do it yourself. You will never know unless you try. As I stated before its easy, a monkey like Mark can do it.

As I don't usually do this sort of thing its was a challenging road to follow. I have found the end of the yellow brick road.
I have finally found out the boiler is made by Columbia. They make the Emerald series. I just ordered the parts and will do the job once they come in. As I couldn't just open the unit, bring a baffle in to order, it for I am a single mom and couldn't do a day w/o the hot water. Needed to order in advance and have all the tools I needed to do the job. Thanks for your response, appreciate it!

The baffles may have been removed to increase the stack temperature. It's a common practice in these types of boilers.

Usually the top row, the end baffles are removed.

I could have gotten the parts, but I see you're in good shape now.

I should have added that the spinners were probably removed for a reason. If you put them in and the stack temperature is too low, you will have condensation in your chimney, unless you upfire the boiler.

I see that all the time with Buderus boilers. Many have the baffles and the flue gas blocking plate removed to increase the stack temperatures and reduce condensation issues when they vent them into unlined or cold outside chimneys. What's funny is when another service company charges the customer to put them back in, especially when they don't perform combustion tests and have no experience with Riello burners and horizontal three pas boilers boilers without lined combustion chambers.

One service company charged one of our former customers big bucks to replace the baffles in their Buderus. They claimed they were missing, but I left them behind the boiler in a large zippered bag with the manuals, spare nozzles and the combustion test printout. When they reduced the stack temperature the condensation made a mess of the chimney and boiler. There was no test hole in the vent pipe, the nozzle was the wrong size and the burner was way off.

A Monkey? I'm built more like a gorilla than a monkey. Comes in handy when your building homes, moving cast iron boilers by yourself or hand threading and wrenching large iron piping.

When customers are upset about the prices professional on-site service companies charge they often make negative comments about the service people. Prices are pretty high this time of year in the Northeast with so many people doing annual service and installations. Many companies have a hard time rescheduling necessary repair work they discover while doing annual service work.

Nobody I know baymee. We've never installed a Columbia boiler or serviced one recently. I simply searched the R.W. Beckett OEM Specs Guide for EM135, EM 135 and EM-135 and found the Columbia EM-135 boiler listing. I just asked if it was a boiler since I was trying to help.
