*sigh* here we go again ......
Comments (7)don't you just hate it when orchids bloom for you? Please stop posting these pictures paul - we've had enough! seriously though, this is such an amazing flower so keep posting the pictures. Someone from my society brought one in last week and it was a treat to see it. Apparently these blooms last a good 3 weeks? I really like the white hairs on the lip (and that plant in the background with the patterned leaves is cool too - is that what is commonly called a jewel orchid?)...See MoreJust did little reno, need to do again- sigh.
Comments (22)Thank you may_flowers and debrak2008, that is about the only thing that is the issue in the kitchen, I yell, "All clear!" when doing the boiling water from the pasta thing. Not sure how else to do this though. It's much better with the wall oven being gone, as I never had room to the right of it and would also have to cross the kitchen. I think I'll post a separate thread with the layout seeing what could happen with the corner pantry gone (but my DH thinks I'm absolutely crazy to spend $ to get rid of it when some people would love to have one). We just moved all the shelving out from it to paint the inside, and there's so much space! I'm wondering what we could do......See Moreblack counter tops best choice ? black sided fridge sigh....
Comments (9)It shouldn't be more than a couple of hundred dollars to panel the sides of the fridge and move that cabinet forward. I'd say $500 tops. You just haven't found the right person for the job yet. It's even pretty easily DIYable if you are remotely handy. Step #1 would be to take a cabinet door down to the best paint shop in town and having them color match it and sheen match it to the cabinets. That's actually the most difficult aspect of it. And sourcing some new crown molding that matches the profile of the old. If you can't source that, then it's easier to just replace all the cabinet's molding. Which actually would be a good thing, as you could then beef it up and take it to the ceiling. That might cost you 1K. But it would have a huge impact on the kitchen....See More*sigh* this is making me mad here/no hotmail
Comments (7)Son loves gmail - wanted to get me into it probably a couple of years ago - back when one had to have an introduction from a subscriber. Did you see my suggestion yesterday to some frustrated hotmailers? It was mainly in jest .. I sort of enjoy that. I've been on Yahoo! for quite a long time and have been pleased with the service, though would be more pleased were they to snatch more of the "Bulk" (four-letter word ... as is "spam") mail on the way in. I have too low capacity in my computer to have allowed me to install their recent upgrade ... perhaps that would help. Quite a few people make Yahoo!Financial one of their major sources for financial info - I do. I'd be happy to send an email for you, if you could get a message to me. But - why not send it yourself? If you go to www.yahoo.com, click on "Mail" and you'll be able to sign in, set up an email address, and send your email. That should work - even if you never use that mailbox again. Shouldn't it? Worth a try - if sending an email now is important. ole joyful...See Moreremodelfla
