I had my blood work done today...No chemo today and I got a new red hat to wear. I am going to have my head shaved tomorrow..There is so little left now and my eyebrows are also almost gone so off comes the hair....

I will be thinking about you ruthie! More power to you.
My sister looked so good with her hair shaved, but she didn't like it.
If my work would have let me, I wanted to shave mine along with her, but I was told it wasn't a good idea. I am still mad about that.

It will look much better shaved, than having the "here and there" hair. Make the best of it if you can!
I will be wearing red tomorrow for all of the girls.

You are welcome. I just thought it was time to start reminding each other again since we've had a few members recently diagnosed. I think it's just one small thing we can do for each other. I don't remember who started it, or why the color was chosen, but what matters is the thought. Tami

I wore a red pullover and a black and red jacket and of course, red finger nails... I was going to post and tell all you chemo Ladies that I made a chemo kit to put in my car to use when I want to stop some where. It has a package of wipes, antibacterial hand cleaner, a mask and I even put in a couple of granola bars because I like to keep my blood sugar at a good place..You might want to think at least of the wipes and the hand cleaner...

Moni...thank you for posting this reminder. I received my red sweatshirt that I ordered from my fav catalog, today. I'll wear it in honor of all our Dear KT friends who are in this battle, my precious DDIL, will be starting chemo very soon. Bless you, Dear Ruthie, my thoughts and prayers are going out for you. I have my muumuu all ready to go, and if I go out tomorrow will wear a red blouse.

Hey Ruthieg...TX - where abouts are ya? I see a hematologist in the Cancer Center of our hospital and I see lots of women covering their shaved heads. Maybe they don't like people staring, but when it's warm I like the look of a shaved head, full face of makeup and fabulous jewelry. Take care and God bless...

I got the results from my blood test yesterday - my cancer marker is down another .5 -- it's now at 1!!!! Woohooo!! Had a CT scan done yesterday, too.
