Sorry no pictures of Lunch!! We had "three schmears"... tri-color corn chips with tzatziki goat cheese (local goat cheese mixed with a tzatziki-like yougurt/cucumber mix), soft cow cheese, and hummus. We each had wonderful cheesy french onion soup. The onions were niceley carmelized. DH had an albacore tuna wrap, and I had a ham and cheese panini. Both were served with a "side salad" of white beans, grape tomato, onion and leaves of some kind in a vinaigrette... so much food, I had to finish the sandwich the next day :-)

Anele...with all you have going on I am so pleased you found this thread and sent your wishes. Thank you ! DH is a special guy. If it weren't for him I know I wouldn't be meditating and that has led to so much more as far as my piece of mind....which he then benefits from. A win/win situation for sure. It's been a wonderful birthday weekend! Thanks for all the greetings and well wishes!!

Yesterday DH and I went to two vineyards near home (SE CT) Maugle Sierra and Saltwater Farms. Then off to a late lunch in Stonington Borough at Dogwatch. Met some other MI transplants, and had a great chat with a boating couple from Springfield. After that lovely afternoon, we went to Chamard Winery where we had some chunky "guacamole" with homemade chips, a glass of wine and listened to some great acoustic guitar.

Today we had lunch at a local restaurant we'd not been to before and had some average sandwiches but wonderful creme brulee. After, we went to the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme - where she (Florence) used to run a boarding house / art colony.

I'm taking tomorrow off as part for my birthday weekend, and we're headed up to Plimouth Plantation and the Mayflower for a day trip.

I'm having a great weekend! Thanks all!

Hey, my modem at home went kaput, I'll have a new one delivered on Wednesday or thursday, but until then, no home internet access.
