Fun...just looked up their band...LOVE the old pics with the YELLOW suit !! What a great history they have together. I remember you posting the pic of them on the beach rock...which is your DH ? That is if you don't mind telling. The Astronaut tune is very cool.

It is nice to have a musician in the house isn't it? (as I can barely carry a tune). Lately we have hardly seen each other and I forget sometimes how much I adore his voice.
What does your dh play?

Very cool ! DH is a jazz piano player. He had a group for many years and played local restaurants and parties and weddings. Not so much any more unfortunately so many people in our area at least are using disc jockeys .

He began playing in a group in the French Quarter when he was in high school in the 60's. Never wanted to make his living as a musician though since it was a hobby that he wanted to have fun with.

Your DH's group is PRO !! Nice to see them together after so long. c

It is neat how they stayed friends all these years. All of our families have experienced the adult milestones in sync. Including when the guys cut their hair!

Oakly, you have a good ear. Dh said the song is Celtic inspired and they sang the harmonies with that in mind. I personally love the mandolin in the song (after dh's voice of course!)

The visuals in the video are very pretty, and thanks to the captioning (sub-titles) I was able to follow along (I recently had a mastoidectomy & cochlear implant surgery). Tell your DH & the rest of his angels, I thought it was beautiful.

I got a kick out of the opulent rooms the band put in the video. Who knew they have an eye for design?
