I can't think of a way I DON'T like them. Well, maybe the way my mother fixed them sometimes when I was a kid. She'd make a cream sauce and pour it on cooked potato chunks and peas. As a kid, that was about as gross as you could get!

I do like twice baked potatoes, either put back in the shell or baked in a casserole. Just always put plenty of butter on them.

Any way at all. Love potatoes. We have mashed or roasted most often.

I'm another lover of potatoes. IF I had to pick, it would be a toss up between potato salad and mashed.

Anyway at all. French fries, pan fried. Mashed with gravy, baked with butter. Scalloped with cheese and bits of ham. Roasted in a dutch oven on top a pot roast. At a track meet for a friends son one day, I had one from the concession stand that was baked, with chili poured over, onions on top that was really quite good, although I wouldn't likely make that at home ;)

Wouldn't you know, DH really prefers rice. And brown rice at that.

Love potatoes, just about any way, it is hard to pick a favorite. Baked with trimmings, mashed, fried, scalloped, even the occasional vichyssoise.

Anyway here also, if I had to pick I would say baked potato with crispy skin.

Every way possible. In order of preference? Mashed, twice baked, au gratin, hasselback, baked, hasbrowns, fried, boiled... what am I forgetting? Raw. I won't eat raw.

Oh, in this case, a picture is worth a 1000 words. Baked, sliced thin, butter poured over it, and it seems like parmesean (sp?) sprinkled on it. Yum! Baked and crispy.

Prefer when I wash the skin, dry, rub with oil, then roll the outside in salt and bake.

A couple evenings ago I got out my biggest black cast iron frying pan; washed, peeled and sliced some white potatoes and a good sized onion, put them into the pan where bacon drippings were heating up, and fried them.

Hadn't done that for a long time, mainly because It is hard to find white potatoes.

Also made corn bread to go with them, and I was happy, happy, happy!

With sweet potatoes, I like them baked, split, and topped with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Or use a nicely shaped sweet potato to grow a pretty vine for your kitchen window.

How about - no way. I don't care for potatoes. My family likes them any way I serve them.

I forgot about hasselbeck potatoes, Rob. Haven't had that in ages. I 'd say scallopped first , don't make them as often since my husband likes everything plain. hash brown potatoes, sliced not like McD's or fast food "hash browns".
But anyway cooked is a good potatoe .

I love potato salad made with Yukon gold potatoes and I've never met a French fry that I didn't like. On the other hand, I hate mashed and baked potatoes because of the texture.

I like scalloped, mashed but has to have gravy with them. Roasted potatoes, fingerlings, regular potatoes, greek roasted potatoes and french fries and baked.

baked! plain or stuffed...next are cheesy potatoes, but just certain recipes of it....

I am one who likes white potatoes almost any way. The one exception would have to be most potato salad recipes....they just don't appeal to me.

Boiled little red potatoes, tossed with butter and Parsley.

I love them every way but my favorite is oven roasted after being drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic salt. They have to be brown and crispy though.

Oooohhhh, fried with onions!

I like the little red and white potatoes cut in half, tossed with a bit of butter and then roasted on a cookie sheet for about 1/2 hour or until they're soft. Love them that way!

Yes, Sue! I just fried some Yukon Gold potatoes and onions up for tonight's dinner - with a fried egg and a patty of sausage - it was GOOD!

The best ever,at the Beach Break Cafe in Oceanside, CA, crunchy hash browns in corned beef hash. It was 10 years ago but I still love them.

I love potatoes either fried, baked, or mashed.
In my old age, I do mostly baked for health reasons (and simplicity). However, in my youth the best was sliced potatoes slow fried in bacon grease. Those were tasty, but I wonder what wreckage it did to my arteries.
