Try the strips first. I hated the trays from the Dentist and they were expensive. Zoom made me find a new Dentist - ouch!

You can control the whiteness - you don't have to do it everyday!

I did not like the strips at all. They slip and taste awful! YUCK!

However, I love the aquafresh trays. They stayed in place, and I actually saw a big difference in about 3 days.

I don't think the strips work good at all...I have some and don't use them.

I bought bleach from my dentist and had a bleaching tray molded to fit my upper teeth. (Dentist said at the time that my bottom teeth don't really show so I wouldn't have to bleach them.)
Anyway I wish I would have had a bottom tray made too.

My teeth whitened about 4 shades...They look soooo much better.

My daughters are really white. She uses the same thing I do.

The bleach come in a syringe. 4 to a package for about 25.00. The expense was in the tray.

I rebleach every now and then when I think about it. two or three months apart or more..

My dentist says his wife bleaches hers a couple times a week and she still has her teeth...lol

I had the expensive kind done at the dentist and they failed to tell me that it usually doesn't work on older teeth. I have one that a child hit one day and it's dark. The whitening won't help that. There's a doc here that does the veneer covers. That makes more sense; I just don't know how pricey that it.

See there are so many if and's and buts????? My DD told me not to do the Zoom she almost left she does love her new look but I do not think she would do it again.

I have heard some good things about the Aquafresh trays.
I think I will try something from the drug store first then go from there.

Vannie I have old teeth they are all mine and have never been very white so I am not sure all the fuss and expense will be worth it.

The only thing you need to worry about is sometimes bleaching can make your teeth very sensitive! Mine are already sensitive, so I didn't notice a big difference.

I got the upper tray done at the dentist-I think it was around $200. I had it done before my wedding and I think it did a good job. You don't see my lower teeth very much when I smile, so I skipped them.

I believe the strips cost around $25, but there are usually coupons in the Sunday paper. Might try them first to see if you see an improvement, or ask your dentist next time you see him/her.

I agree with the previous poster..I did this about 4-5 years ago and had the tray, cost around $200 and although I'm old, it really did work...But I've found, my teeth are now very sensitive and I honestly think, it wore off some of the enamel....I wouldn't do it again...Just my 2 cents....
