55 is COLD!! Especially when he's low on the ground. Glad he's up on a pillow, but cold could be seeping up through the pillow too, so I'm glad he has his blue blankie. Very cute.

It probably is warmer underneath the house, as our house is on stilts, we also have lattice on both sides of the patio and my car is also blocking the cold from my precious little Snoopy but it is his favorite spot for day time napping.

Won't be to long when our Florida weather will be so hot that he will spend his days inside with the air conditioner going full blast.

I agree 55 is cold. I keep my thermostat on 70 and 68 at night. If I watch a 2 hour movie or take a nap, it's very cold.

It is probably warmer where is he laying on the patio as part of the house underneath is built in which also shields Snoopy from any drafts.

Sunshine, I didn't mean to indicate you are letting your dear pup be cold. I'm sure if he were cold, he would whine to come in. I know you're a good "mama" to your little dog.

Snoopy is a Long-haired Chihuahua I think. He just showed up in my yard twelve years ago as a pup and I kept him. Tried to find the owner but heard that he had died. I just think he is a blessing from God.

Same story almost as a part Collie , looked around in the neighborhood and so glad no one claimed him. I had him for fifteen years. He was the love of my life. Snoopy had about a year of his time with him before we had to end his precious life.

Awww, sunshine. I had a part collie, too, that was the love of my life. But I have a new love now. Well, two actually. I inherited my sister's mini schnauzer, Fred, and I have a new puppy, a Havanese, Carmelita. Here are my two.

How adorable, my goodness I could look at their faces for hours. Actually all dogs are beautiful to me. Your blessed to have those two creatures in your life, take good care of them. Dogs deserve the best we can give them.

my one cat has cabin fever! she runs to the door to be let out but while i do, it's for about 2 minutes...she never makes it off the porch...

Ooh zeetera, he is beautiful!! My sister-in-law has a black little girl. Aren't they just the sweetest dogs? Carmelita will be 9 months old on Tuesday. One more picture and then we'll stop hogging sunshine's post.

My little one Mia is always cold in the winter even though it is not really cold in the house where she is, but she has very light hair. She is a toy fox terrier and I just can not stand to see her doing that shivering, so she usually has on some kind of clothing, sweater or hoodie and her little dog bed is heated, she adores that heated bed. But of course her preferred spot is in our laps covered with her soft fluffy blankie LOL

Awwwh Murraysmom, she's adorable. I wanted one that colour too but the breeder said that they're rare. I keep my dog's hair cut now because it tangles easily.

I have heard that havanese have a personality very similar to golden retrievers.

After going through photobucket, I realize I don't have a pic there of Quincy since he has gotten older. Here's a puppy pic...

Oh no Moonie, I just realized that your other post is about your adorable Quincy here. Know that my thoughts are with you even though I didn't open your other thread (too heartbreaking).

I've heard that retrievers have beautiful personalities but not sure how they compare to the Havanese. I know that my dog can make certain people feel special. lol. He either likes you or doesn't and if you'll know by his reaction to you. He'll race around the house at top speed totally excited to see you, and then try to hump you. He's a good judge of character.
