Just received an email that he passed away a few days ago. Heartbreaking. I was on his mailing list and always enjoyed reading his articles. He was an advocate of T3 for thyroid patients and his research has been very helpful for me. RIP.
That's sad. I didn't know about him and his research, but I'll look into it.
Dr. Atkins died of a head injury, too. His work attracted a lot of controversy, but I think he made an important contribution. A start, at least. He was my physician in NYC.
Very sad about both wonderful men. Don't you just wonder why? These two great men had so much to give society and yet they died in a fall while murderers and rapists live on unscathed.
