LG Waveforce TL
Comments (7)Hi mainer_at_heart, I don't own that machine but I do recall another poster answering that question before. Here is what he said and a link to that discussion: "The cascading water over the clothes during the Wash/Spin is the wave force action. It happens on load 8lb or more. It depends on the load size and amount of water in the machine. It seems to work mainly on the Normal/cotton cycle and heavy duty." Comments (4)I also have this exact set and no problems with the laundry at all. Everything comes out fine - no tangles. I do find it's best to shake out larger pieces before putting into dryer for less wrinkling especially since they are relatively damp coming out of the washer due to its great spin cycle....See MoreLG Wave washer and dryer
Comments (20)I just had my LG top loader WT5105H and dryer DLEX5101 delivered yesterday. 1. Please advise: The wash cycle is basically much slower than I anticipated, even on Heavy Duty. Is this correct? I read reviews but don't recall folks being surprised by how gently the machine washes?? Just wish to make sure that nothing is wrong with mine from the beginning. Thanks. 2. I had "warm" water issues with my last Kenmore washer. I've only run two loads and felt this warm was barely warm also. Question - what would happen if one SLIGHTLY decreased/closed the cold water valve at the wall? Advice? I haven't tried a hot load yet, but my unit has a heater. My hots were hot before so I'm not expecting a problem. 3. My favorite detergent will remain Cheer HE. I believe it whitens better than most and yet is gentle on bright colors and blacks in cold. I wear a lot of red and black and hate fading. 4. I bought the silver units. At least for now, the finish is beautiful. 5. I am pleasantly surprised by how quiet both units run....See MoreLG WaveForce WT5101 Temperature Issue
Comments (10)Markb...sad part is all new He washers are so dumbed down in temperatures its not funny. I know Mieles do what they say from what I have read on here. The new kenmore washer made by Electolux sounds impressive too. I am used to washing in warm and hot water, true warm and hot for that matter, as my old He3t did just that. I can honestly say, that my LG does clean as good in its temps as the Kenmore did. For me its a mental thing, if I want warm or hot water, thats what I want, no discussion about it. If I knew I could sell off my LG set, Id go after a Lux set. I like Miele, but too many people complain about the viberation and noise in the spin cycle. I for one, spin EVERYTHING at top speed, never had a problem with wrinkles or anything else. A good shake and toss it in the dryer and all is good. Larsi bragged about his Lux set on here, sad it cleaned better than his Miele, quieter, less viberation. All I can think of is his friends came over and said you didnt buy a meile?? So he went out and bought one. Yes Im sure the lux is not a tank built as a miele, but he sure did like it and shared it with everyone on here as I do with with my LG. Its whatever a person wants, for whatever reason I say and I mean no pun against Larsi at all...See Moremarkb
