Moni, when the kids swam a lot, we would go to the store and buy the drops for the aquarium to get the chlorine out of the water, don't remember what it was called. We put a few drops in cool water rinsed the suits in that, then rinsed in clean water. It sure helped keep them nice longer!
Wardley Essentials Chlor Out, neutralizes chlorine and chloramines in Tap Water, from the aquarium section at WalMart. Think it's $1.98 and lasts forever. I just put the suit in the bathroom sink in water that has a few drops, and swish it around. Then squeeze and hang to dry.
WalMart used to carry a hair shampoo that I first used, but they don't carry that brand anymore. Ask a sales person in the shampoo section, where you live, if the carry a hair shampoo rinse for clorine!
The chlorine drops for the aquarium works, and is cheaper than the shampoo.
Moni, didn't it feel good to swim in the winter? I love my Tuesday and Thursday swims in a motel pool. I bring my swim noodle with me to do more exercises.
