Snowflakes as big as tennis balls!

Really coming down here. We went to store, roads were bare, coming back the interstate was covered! Supposed to be 4-5 inches. How,s it where you are?

Susan, the weatherman says that people in Moundsville and below were going to get a lot of snow and quickly. I'm north and a little east of there in Ohio so it looks like we are going to miss this one. Stay in and stay safe.

60-plus degrees and heading for the 70's. Sun shining. Gonna make sun-tea. In sunny arizona, near Tombstone.

Thanks everyone for all your sweet comments. Nana, Jeanne didn't send TJ's new outfit she just gave me the knudge to change her outfit.LOL Kath, DD gave me the napkins and a center piece that match. Kathleen gave us a site that shows how to make them if you're interested. We could probably come up with it. I found this site that shows how to make them. Jane, I received a santa for Christmas that has these same colors and he is beautiful. Didn't think I should use him as the cp so will have to share him at Christmas this year. Karen, Can hardly wait till DGD see's TJ with her shades on. We bought her several pairs of glasses for Christmas at Clairs in the mall. She left 3 pairs here to play with. I bought some other lg trees at great buys that I will share with all of you when I have time. I had never seen these little trees with skirts that matched before so was happy to bring them home. The two lg pinecones are ornaments too. I had a late night at the office and drove home in a ground blizzard. It's been a long time since I've had to deal with this kind of weather. Very funny Jessy! And here is the best part... that was a toupee! He tells in his book that he was so upset about losing his hair that his brother convinced him to wear a piece. It was kind of funny - and kind of sad - when he writes about being in a major tournament and worrying that his hair will fall off. Can picture him with the mullet, wearing a headband? That headband was helping to keep things in place. Brooke Shields convinced him to deal with the baldness by just having his head. I think it was great advice. Wow! You guys have some great ideas! I have a working menu... Australia - Shrimp (not on the barbie, Ina Garten's roasted shrimp cocktail) England - Cucumber sandwiches England - Strawberries and clotted cream France - Brie (baked if I'm not feeling too lazy)(I know, how lazy do you have to be that baked brie takes effort - lol!) U.S. - Crudites and Ranch dip Las Vegas -Champagne cocktails For dessert I'll serve chocolate cake. I read that layer cakes are a quintessential American invention. How can I keep pillows from balling up when washing in a FL?

If your pillows are made of polyester fiber chances are they will always ball up in a FL and might be better washed in a TL. The nature of the way the fibers/strands of polyester are stacked up to make the filling of the pillows makes it easy for them to get deformed in the intense pressure of a FL spin. You might try stopping the machine before the spin and positioning the pillows around the outer walls of the drum and then launching into a spin-only cycle. And use much less spin speed, even though it will not extract as much water. The tennis shoe, nylon ring, kong, thing is not intended to prevent balling up in the washer. It is recommended to bash apart small clumps of down filling in a dryer, not the washing machine. It is also believed to add useful static charge during the drying cycle. Blankets balling up in FLs is not the same thingas as a polyester pillow getting deformed (though both would be described as having "balled up"). Blankets that get "balled up" probably would be better washed with another similar item if there is room, or just ignored as long as the cleaning is adequate. It is more of a problem in the larger tilted-drum FLs than the smaller true horizontal machines. Molly~

He's my favorite dude; that's for sure. The inner flap (third eyelid or nictitating membrane) on his left eye is brown; the inner flap on his right eye is white/clear. This makes his eyes appear asymmetrical at times. Both eyes are the same size, and in perfect health, but the differing pigmentation of the inner eyelids is very noticeable.

They are saying 30 degrees for today! After last weeks highs of -10 & -12 it feels wonderful!!! With 3 plus feet of snow on the ground and a good breeze I am not sure it will hit 30, but still you can tell when its above 0!

It's 57 degrees here right now and the sun is out and it's a beautiful day. I should be out getting my garden ready for spring planting.

No new snow here either--but temp at 30 which melts snow, then blowing snow covers it, then freezes. Roads were interesting yesterday coming back from Minot. Slow is good. ND

Susan, some of my WV family (Stonewood, Glenville, West Milford) has been posting about the size of the flakes on Facebook today.
They all think the flakes are beautiful, but I think they're all pretty sick if the snow. Sounds like it's been pretty heavy for you guys this year.

Hope you have some sunny days soon.

Susan, I just drove from Morgantown to Clarksburg. The interstate is quite clear considering the storm but I pray for anyone out there now and tonight. With the temperatures hovering at freezing I am afraid the emergency crews will be in high demand.
