Happy New Year to all my TKO friends

Wishing us all a New Year filled with peace for all mankind, happiness and prosperity. I hope you all finish your kitchens this year, quickly and with as little stress as possible if you haven't already done so, and that you create wonderful meals, both old and new, and continue to experience all of the joys that cooking and baking have to offer! I wish too, that you always have the company of your loved ones nearby and that your cupboards always remain filled.

My thanks, too, to loves2cook and to all the other Kitchen Forum citizens who so freely share all they have learned and continue to learn about the art and science of creating wonderful kitchens. I have gleaned so much from all of your experiences, and this year I will be able to put this knowledge to work. With luck our contract with our builder will be signed by the end of this week, and we will then be able to start putting all the rest of our ducks in their respective rows--or, rather, their full-extension Blumotion soft-closing drawers!

Happy New Year, All! We usually just hang out in front of the tv for the evening but our neighbors and their two girls came over as they are still waiting for their remodel to finish. We sure had a good time. Thankfully the only thing we have to do today is take down the outdoor lights as we did the rest yesterday.
