I THINK I may have found your old post - in kinda a backwards way. I realized a while back that our posts from here appear on Google. That worried me some cause when you post here, you kinda feel you know the people who will be reading it. Anyway, I typed in Baltimore Checkerspot and it gave me 67 pages of places to go. I went through those and found two by "berngirl" but not yours. Then I typed in Baltimore Checkerspot on Gardenweb and it gave me fewer, some of the ones I had already checked and others. I found one that was titled "Chelone Lyonni Hot Lips and Baltimore Checkerspot" posted by Zebz 7 on may 29, 07. Emmayct, you responded to that one a couple of times SO MAYBE that is what you are looking for? I didn't go any further to see if you had more but if you can't find it on here, go to Google and see what you can find. I have used this method a few times and have always found what I was looking for. Sometimes it just takes scanning pages to do so. Hope this helps others, too.

Don R, I absolutely cracked up with that thread you linked....and you started it. Big puckers.....now that is wonderfully descriptive. I can see it smooching up, like plants do on Plant Delights Nursery catalog covers. I'm including a link to a part of the PDN website where they might sell "ghosts of catalogs past".....incidentally, I save ALL their cat covers. Great humor, really neat art work for gardeners. Although I've searched and searched I can't seem to find it, but somewhere I know that there is a post where someone built in an OTR model but not over the range. Can anyone out there help me? I am particularly looking for the pictures. This person had built some sort of open platform for it to sit on over her counters. Thanks.
