What shape/size baking stones to buy?

I want to buy a baking stone, mainly for heating the oven under and over pies but also for pizza and maybe someday bread. I went to Pampered Chef's site and see they have some with low sides and some without. I feel one without sides certainly, probably the 12 x 15 rectangular. Should I buy the 13 regular round pizza stone as my second or something with sides? I'm pretty comfortable with standard glass for apple crisps and brownies etc.
