Live to see our 90th birthday.

Good morning, Ellie. Believe it or not, I often don't get everything on my list. Not because I didn't try, but I got distracted and forgot something I was heading for and thought I got it. That's why DH says I can't entertain without forty-two trips to the grocery store! LOL 90th birthday sounds like a good answer to me. I'm trying to remember what the average life expectancy is now. I know it's increased. I'd like to say live to be 100 because it gives me a few more years!!

I would never steal something on purpose!! :)

I'm fortunate to have a friend who turned 100 in August and we're looking forward to her 101st birthday. I'm with Georgy and am saying live to be 100.

And if tht happens to me, I fear for you all!! Bwaaa-hahahahaha!

Well here's something I've noticed, according to the stock on hand at party supply stores (6 I've been to), They must believe that people don't live past the age of 70. I am in the process of planning a 75th birthday party and there is nothing available...how sad!

Today's guess is based on a conversation I just had with my FIL. Still live in the first home you purchased.

dees, I understand your answer. That has happened to me and both times it's happened at Walmart. Going back into Walmart and through the ordeal of having to return something is such a pain. They don't make it easy. On both occasions I was very tired and couldn't bring myself to do it. I felt terrible but every time I've had to return something there, there is such a long line. Generally there's two employees behind the counter and one of them is doing who knows what, but not taking exchanges. I'm big on returning things but try my darnedest not to return anything at Walmart!

Oh, I like Matti's answer, too. I will go one further and say go to a nursing home.

OR go to a hospital.

Get a driving violation.

Sorry to say that's not me. I have gotten them 5 minutes after I leave the garage. When they call you by your first name, the skip the speech and you're on the road in less than 5 minutes.

No melons or pineapple there either so now it's on to store #7.In this case, I was planning on going to 2 but 7 when I had a list of about 15 items, was more than I had bargained for. Just needed to rant, thanks for listening.

I not only remember the post, I remember the whole experience. Every time I go shopping and I have to hit two or three stores to get everything on my list, I remember the time I hit up seven stores! I guess I should be thankful I have seven to hit. My last escapade was with raddichio. I had a hard time finding it and when I finally found a store that carried it, I went straight there the second time I needed it. This was last month. I was 90% checked out, the cashier couldn't find it in her computer so she went to the produce department to check. I apologized to the very nice lady behind me and we chatted. The cashier returned and just as she started to finish my order, the electricity went out. I had to leave everything on the counter and go to another store. As I was leaving, I apologized once again to the lady behind me and said if it wasn't for that damn raddichio, we would have both made it out of here! It was only two stores that day. Seemed like a blessing to me. LOL

Well, you are a trooper. There was a time when I started walking again if I could make it all the way around the Harris Teeter I was doing well. I can do that and a lot more but not 7 stores. That's why you inspired me.
