I love this quote. About a year ago my daughter was standing in the mirror evaluating herself when I gave her a new outfit for her birthday. She first starting evaluating her appearance --(elastic waist pants--not pleated fronts, full-cut undies rather than dental floss undies, the cut of her hair); --then, the car she drove (a mini-van rather than that cute little sports car); --then, the not-so-spotless house with laundry overflowing the dirty laundry basket, having two small children and a step-son teenager; --then, a dog, a cat, two birds... She did a little scream and said, "OH NO!! I am now my mother." LOL Marda, That was a new one for me. I googled but won't tell.
