My brain won't tell my eyes what they are supposed to see in the Pismo Beach picture. Is it made from a plane and are those pinkish gray streaks clouds? Is the beach in the left corner?

The widest streak looks like a strip of canned salmon.LOL

Carol, is it waves in the sand with water standing in the low spots? Clouds reflecting in the water? Visually very interesting.

Yes, Ron that is what is is......ripples in the sand from the tide trapping water reflecting the blue sky and white clouds.
