Which Dual Fuel HVAC System? Or How About Lifebreath?

Northern California, SF Bay Area, single level home of 1100 sq. ft. Two year old Solar system producing more energy than we currently use. Solar H2O installed this past year with internal 220v heater in roof mounted thermosiphon tank. It's using some of the extra energy but now it's time to update the very old and inefficient gas furnace. Planning on installing a dual fuel system to use remaining 'banked' energy before energy company zeros it out in May of each year.

We live in a relatively mild climate so thinking is that gas furnace will be seldom used. Have quotes on Rheem and American Standard 14 and 16 seer systems. Also considering the Lifebreath system that would use the hot water as the heating source. Any thoughts on, or experience with this system?
