Lurking, update and hello :)

Hello!! :)

It's been awhile since I have made a post. I have been lurking though and as always following along with all that is going on here. My thoughts and prayers have been going out to all who need them. And I have been laughing along with all of your funny stories as well.

The last 2 months have been......something. DH is in physical therapy now. He has been in water therapy for 5 weeks and will start land therapy on Monday. He has been having severe leg pain. He had his first post-op appointment with the surgeon on the 8th and the doctor said the leg pain is a direct result of inflammation in his back, that is pressing down on a nerve, and he gave him a strong anti-inflammatory that lasts only 1 week. The last 2 days DH has been doing much better. I am thankful for that. He goes back to the doctor on Feb. 19th until then, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Other than that, we are all doing well. I just KNOW that 2008 is going to be great. :) I hope you all had a very Happy New Year.

It's hard to feel like crud all the time. Healing thoughts coming your DHs way. Hugs to you too Heather!

Wonderful to hear from you!!! Raising a family takes priority over talking to us any day. Do you know what the new baby will be? It is the norm to know before hand these days. " In my time you just took what came out"! LOL A lot of posters have come and gone in the few years I have been on the forum, so it is nice to know you still check in once in a while. Sposed to be warming up around here over the next couple days, so it should be drifting down your way as well. Today was the worst day so far this year, it was only 44 most of the day, but frozen water in shady areas never thawed out all day and the wind was especially bitter. My chickens never wanted to come out of the coop! Mike B was out there all day (what a trooper) building them a new enclosure that will be called Fort Chicken Knox. I had so much trouble with predators in 2011 they were afraid to lay eggs most days. This coming Summer should be a lot more pain free for them. I'm glad to see you're still around too, PA. Love to see what your place looks like after you get the plants in the ground, especially the brugs and the plumerias. I always seem to get a lot of growth, not much bloom on mine. Hang in there everyone, it can't be winter forever!

Ginger!!! So good to hear from you! I, too, was gone for quite awhile and recently returned. This great forum has already pushed me to resume organizing. A warm Hello from the Sunshine State.I am another Senior Citizen. I just celebrated 46 years with a pretty nice guy. I think I will keep him.I have three grown children and seven wonderful grandchildren.Three cockatiels, a pet squirrel, who lives in my backyard and a spoiled Lhaso named Sandy, She lets us share her bed!
