I don't know what's going on,but it's happening to me on some posts.I just refresh the page and then it works.It's doing this on other forums too.

It just happened to me on Bumpkin's post....muist be an Alabama thing!

Is it because of all the extra characters she adds to the subject (rather than a single space which works better and doesn't look so silly) when she posts a second time? That throws off the spacing for a lot of people. It's frustrating for many people. I use Opera and use the fit to width feature and that helps for things like this.

If this is the cause, there's nothing *you* can do about the cause except perhaps make a request, but it's been made several times, by many people, unsuccessfully.

Other causes are when people post huge pictures that throw off the spacing, and short of turning off graphics, you're stuck on that one too. I always try to resize the pictures if not the picture itself, then the posting size of it as a courtesy so it doesn't cause others trouble.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Chrome also has the fit to width feature available by an extension.

(And you'll note I could post immediately after! One little space is all it takes! But I'm not going to get "critical" LOL) Good luck and happy surfing.

The extra letters don't affect posts. Never has, at least.

No Cynic, it's not her spacing. I've had it with some of the other posters also. I just looked at her post to the others in AL to see if they are prepared for the storm and didn't have a problem with it.

This site has LOTS of problems no doubt, lots of people have some sort of problem here. Each one seems different.

It's doing it on other forums also. I just opened the 1st page at the cooking forum and couldn't scroll down to see the posts, so it's not just the way a post is written in the subject line, either. At the cooking forum, it wasn't even a post that wouldn't scroll, it was the whole page listing the posts.

I've been having this problem for about two weeks, too. It's not just an AL "thing", especially not with Glenda's posts, per se, but on other forums, too. I haven't found a way to correct it, other than to go back to the previous page and try another post. Sometimes that works, but sometimes it doesn't! It can get very frustrating!

What's REALLY driving me crazy is that when I try to connect to another page, I sometimes get the message that "Internet Explorer cannot display this page."; then the Internet connection is lost. I'm starting to think that this may be caused by my Internet provider rather than something on my computer--or something that I'm doing to cause it. Any suggestions or solutions out there? (I haven't gone to the computer forum, yet, that's next, I think.)

MW, I have that problem, too. After it starts, it slowly gets worse. Sometimes running a full scan and cleaning up my files and cookies helps but only temporarily. Yesterday it finally got so bad I couldn't log on to the internet. I shut down the server for a couple of hours and that cleared it up. I have wireless Netgear though and you're supposed to do that occasionally according to my provider.

Just more of the mess with the floater ads, the talking ads and all the extra ads. I don't mind the ones on the header. I even check some of them out sometimes.But having all these ads shoved down my throat, I'm sure not going to bother opening any of them.

Doesn't sound like anything is being done about it.

I'd like to have a ....."we aren't going to do anything about it" or a "we are trying to get it fixed, please be patient". But this being ignored just doesn't work for me.

I'm sure, if they check these forum at all that someone has seen that many of us are complaining about all the "stuff" happening here.

Ok NOW I don't have a scroll bar on the bottom on SOME posts....this one doesn't have one.

I never have a bottom scroll bar unless a post in the thread is wider than the screen. Like an extra large picture or sometimes the text goes beyond the right margin.

My scroll bar is on the side, and that's the one that has been disappearing

I don't have that problem with anyone's posts here. I don't think it's caused by putting extra characters in the title post so you can re-post.

I think it's a browser compatibility problem combined with GW's current attempts to fix things.

You'll get a bottom scroll bar if someone posts a very large picture, as pris mentioned above. That's normal.

Is the right side of your page completely "off the page"? No desktop showing behind it? If so, place your cursor on the blue bar at the top, hold down the left button and move the cursor to the left. If both left and right sides are off the page, place your cursor on the bottom right corner until a two ended arrow appears. Hold down the left button and move the cursor toward the center. This resizes the page to fit on the screen. If your page is sized to fill the whole screen, it's easy to accidently shift the page with the keyboard and arrow keys without realizing it.

It's not Glenda or Garden Web.It's happening to me on forums completely not connected to Garden Web.I go to some horse forums and it's happening there too.
