While working for the telephone company, I have no idea how many trouble reports we took over the years regarding 'can't call' or 'can't be called' problems. A good many of them were caused by transposed digits such as you describe, or incorrect dialing. It was a rare customer that would even admit to that being a possibility.

It sounds like you have been run down the wrong road since you began. First off... NEVER GLUE A " Solid wood, directly to concrete... PERIOD!!! Defective wood, needs to be inspected, and returned or replaced upon discovery.

We had a man keep calling us in the last 2 weeks saying he is from UPS and has been calling us to deliver a pkg. I personnally talked to him one time and he said he worked for some other company I just hung up on him~~~then the next morning(Sunday) at 6:45 he left the message saying he worked for UPS. I know it was the same person he has a strange accent~~~now how dumb is he? UPS does not call you to deliver~~if someone send us a UPS item wouldn't it have our address on it not our phone # and UPS does not usually deliver on a Sunday maybe at holiday time~~and they do not call at 6:45 in the morning~~my son used to work for UPS so I know the drill! My DH looked up the area code of the number the man wanted us to call and he said it was Jamaica~~~he called one more time after that about a week later and he leaves another voice mail how dumb do they think we are???
