Hey Todd, I have a bunch of assorted pumpkins I can send you. Did you get the grape vines OK? Just e-mail your address again please to liznbeatle@aol.com and I'll get them out to you. Lisa

I can help you out. I have silver maple seeds that need planted fresh and they are starting to fall. I have cedar berries, a few bur oak acorns, some spreading yew, wild pink roses, autumn splendor mountain ash, crimson cloud hawthorn, purple concord grapes and I think some others, can't remember, I think I have my page updated if I did it right (I'm new). I'll do trade or sasbe. I'll put the link down below and if it doesn't work, I'll check my email (mamahack@hotmail.com) Here is a link that might be useful: garden web exchange link

If I understand your question...you are asking if you should remove the seed from the developing stem of the seedling? NO Just plant the seedling in the soil with the seed attached to it. It will shrivel up and fall off by itself as the seedling grows. I have done this several times. I wouldn't take the chance of pulling it off as you could damage the seedling.

I'd try to reseed the bare areas press it in gently and water it in well. Good luck
