old friend needs help- Brisket

DH walked in with 13# whole brisket-- flat end I'll corn as usual for St Patty's-- round end have cut in 2 & will be frozen for later use( chopped small for chili etc & 1 piece ground to mix with ground chuck for summer hamburger grilling).
The center piece DH wants braised -which I've never done tho I suppose I could wing it & do like I would short ribs-- but does anyone have a T & T recipe / method I could use? TIA
