Best Yeast infection cure..non prescription
Comments (19)I mention this because no one said it yet... If anyone is getting yeast infections often, there is a good chance your body's pH is off (usually way too acidic). You can get pH paper on amazon to check (you can get a roll for about 6 bucks), I think some homeopathic stores also sell the paper. Get a roll that is in the range of 3 to 8 and spit on a piece of the paper at a time when you haven't eaten in 2 hours (otherwise you'll be getting a false reading). It should be around 7 on a person with a good normal pH. If its crazy low, like 3 to 5, that is way too acidic. You're as tart as coca cola! To fix this, you will need to go on an alkalizing diet. It will take a long time, but it will fix the problem permanently when you get your pH back up (even just up to 6 will fix your troubles). You can search on google for alkalizing diet to get the specifics, but basically you eat very little to no meat, and cut out all sugar, and no alcohol, tea or coffee. Milk and eggs are fine to eat. After about a year of that diet you will be able to reintroduce some of the bad foods if you want because you will have gotten the Ph up a bit by then and you'll be okay. If you can't stand to not have meat, give up the sugar. If you can't stand to give up the sugar, give up the meat. Try to be reasonable - both of those (meat and sugar) are very acidifying, so unfortunately, if your pH is way too acidic, one of those groups will have to go for awhile if you want to be rid of this thing, so if you can't stand to give up either, just limit yourself and eat as little of them as you can....See MoreInfection on a delicate area, which antibiotic can I use?
Comments (3)It could be a number of things. You really need to find the money to see a doctor if you think its infected. It could even be a thrombosed hemorrhoid. Have you tried any preparation H? It might help to shrink those swollen tissues, if it is hemorrhoids....See Moreis it a yeast infection?
Comments (3)Well, it depends, honestly. It could be several things. Vaginitis, irritated vulva, a UTI could cause her to lick because of discomfort. Is she spayed? If not it could be heat related or an infection that needs attention ASAP. Does she have any discharge or redness? Smell your dogs feet, that might be the 'cheesy' smell. For some reason a lot of people will agree their dogs feet smell like doritos or corn chips. Although foul odors accompany many infections in dogs. Unfortunately because it can be one of several infections or conditions, I wouldn't think it would be a good idea to try and self treat this time. I would take her in to get her cleared of some of the more serious issues and treated. I typically don't like to run to the vet either, without letting something play it's self out for a bit, or look up any info I can - but in this case I would probably go in. If she's got a UTI it could spread if it goes untreated, or any crystals associated with it could quickly form into stones. Or if she's already got stones she could face a life-threatening blockage which requires emergency surgery. I don't know what the likely hood of it being serious VS non serious - but because dogs can't tell us exactly what the problem is and often don't show any major signs until it's serious, this is something I wouldn't play around with. Good luck! I hope it is something simple to cure and your furbaby feels better soon!...See MoreOveruse of antibiotics: The beat goes on . . .
Comments (36)don_socal, good reminder. I had a neti pot, then this sinus rinse was recommended to me. I use it all the time, I think it works better than the neti pot, just my opinion :) I was also told by my allergist to use distilled water and to make sure I use the salt packets made for the neti pot/sinus rinse bottle. Regular salt is too strong for the delicate nasal passages and can leave a residue. http://www.target.com/p/neilmed-pharmaceuticals-original-sinus-rinse-kit-packets-50-count/-/A-13342400?ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=13342400&ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Health%2BBeauty%2BShopping&adgroup=SC_Health%2BBeauty&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=1024622&gclid=Cj0KEQiAyvqyBRChq_iG38PgvLgBEiQAJbasd4uVPqNMlqDBS-QJyKV4Dl8xeb5kRg0usZP4kvQEFhYaAsfB8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds And when the forehead, face, cheeks, ears, temples, neck etc. really ache this thing is like magic. Zapped in the microwave for about 2 minutes and wrapped around neck/across forehead and eyes, it's damn near a miracle the relief it gives. http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-235892/earth-therapeutics-anti-stress-comfort-wrap.jsp?ci_mcc=ci&utm_campaign=BATH%20%26%20BODY&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=google&utm_product=12226038&CID=shopping15&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=12226038&gclid=Cj0KEQiAyvqyBRChq_iG38PgvLgBEiQAJbasdybQr8r5U03APaBzDWo1Nkcp9OafrVPm7W2K07g3NUIaAmBH8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CKLSrPOevckCFctANwodZ2ANwA...See Morelittleonefb
