Salt Ban

A proposal to ban the use of salt in restaurant cooking is the latest effort to make us eat healthier by a government official who knows better than we what's good for us. I presume he is doing this "for your own good".

First it was fat and carbohydrates, now it's salt that we need to be protected against. Do you think this is the sort of thing that should be under government control? Or should chefs and their customers be able to decide for themselves?

I guess my opinion is obvious.
