Manufacturers with thickest wear layer for glue down install.

We are looking for hardwood to do a whole house with a slab and glue down method.

In our current house we have an engineered Robbins red oak that was installed in 2000 and has been great. I believe it had a 1/8" wear layer and was supposed to be able to be re-screened 3 times. We've not had to do it even once so far, but this was with no kids and 2 20-30 lbs dogs with well trimmed nails.

Any suggestions what brands to look at? We don't want a micro-bevel and would like something that could be re-finished at least once unless it has super deep gauges.
