canguy they have slots cut out in plates [i assume for oil] but they have 2 sets of slots big and small,on plates do big go with big or does one go one way and one the other? the 2 different size slots are on top and bottom of both plates .

I don't feel I'm making a mistake. I carefully looked many, many ranges over, including a Capital sitting on the floor a few feet from the Bluestar. It was a Precison and not the Culinarian, but it was enough to make a judgement. I felt the Bluestar was the superior range. I'm not saying the Capital is not a good range. Many people are thrilled with them. I just feel the Bluestar, for me, can't be beat. I don't need to fire up the burners to see how well they work. I've cooked long enough to be able to tell what I need to know by examining them closely. I have no doubts that the BS has very even heating burners. I also have no doubts that the CC does as well, judging from Trevor's excellent photos. I like the BS grates and quality, the arrangement and looks of the burners, the heft of the oven racks, the slick interior of the ovens (which should make them easy to clean), the way the oven racks operate, the overall build quality, and the looks, better than any of the several other "high end" ranges I looked at. I am at peace and have absolutely no doubt left in my mind. The hardest part was settling on a color. When two ranges are both good and put side by side, the choice becomes a very personal one. Not using an extension cord is "the right way". But you probably can safely use an extension cord if it can handle the current draw of the treadmill. You might want to consider what's called an "appliance extension cord". These are heavier-gauge and designed for devices which use more energy. They also run shorter than many household extension cords. You may not find one longer than 3-4 feet.

Look up "total trainer",,,I wanted the Total Gym really bad with pilates,,price was like $1500 for real one versus QVC version, so after a lot of research I found them,,they are out of Lousiana somewhere,,my owner's manual says www.total-trainer.com,,from Bayou fitness 800/230-1256,,,anyway they have many different quality levels and configurations and I'm not kidding when I say I got great quality,,since I went with the highest price pilates one they make that is combo of total gym with the pilates accoutraments so I can do both for $500 including shipping. Everything was included and didn't nickle/dime you on other accessories...really glad I got it,,had video etc. and I read reviews of it,,mine has the glides that are chrome so it's quiet,,take a look at website.. glad I found this forum since I'm usually on decorating forum!!
