I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people here who have responded. Yall are great people. I hope I can repay each and every one of you in one way or another. I hope a can offer you some seeds or something at a later time. I did get out and walk a little bit in my yard the last couple of days for a few minutes. It felt so good to get out for a few minutes even if I had to see so many dead flowers. I have massive grasshoppers too to complicate this terrible weather. Bought a specialized grasshopper organic disease. It killed off a lot of them in the spring but now the ones that are left are about 4 inches long. They have stripped some of my plants to the stalk--they even ate the seeds!!!!!! Oh my, on to happier thoughts. I have started eating a little more. My nurse says I have to eat lots of protein to help the healing of the wound. I am not a real meat person. I like the veggies and the bread with a little bit of meat. But, I will eat the meat--as much as I can anyway--I dont want to get sick--major setback. Well, thats probably enough from me. Just a little update and many thanks to all of you who have made me a very happy young(wellll.......maybe) lady. Keep up the good work. By the way, I have almost gotten back to everyone. There is a few more I have to go. Can only sit at the computer a little while at the time.

I think I may have the same problem but I am in my late 50's. The pain sometimes comes down the side of my thigh but my knee aches all the time. If I touch the knotty bone at the bottom of my knee I can feel it across the outerpart of my knee. Almost like something is moving. And if I put weight on my knee there is a burning sensation or squishy feeling. I also have Plantar Facisitis (sp), I think and am wondering if its all related. Is her pain similiar?

I have had one bout of sciatica that came on suddenly and was incredibly painful-quoted the above insights because what has worked for me is Pilates. I was taking group lessons and when the trainer went out on her own I followed her. She is very good at getting me to move and stretch past what I would do on my own without straining or overdoing it; Pilates of course is also all about strengthening one's core muscles and I've not had any more sciatic problems. Thank goodness for that, it was one of the most excruciating pains I've ever experienced. Ann

Hello all, I cant get enough of reading these blogs maybe looking for relief. Had my last period in November 2012 , started to get weakness in my legs and knee pains. I felt sharp shooting pains through my legs etc. Hot flushes for a few seconds. Sleep not too good. My body is tired just doesn't feel right . I had xrays on my knees, back some problems there but nothing to explain this great pain. Sciatic nerve problem too. Getting up out of bed standing on my legs is painful. There is an ache there all the time all day, mostly my legs from the knees down. I don't know what to do anymore.. I have read the whole blog and wrote down the names of a lot of the remedies that everyone has mentioned. But am really sick of taking supplements which I have been doing for years. I do Aqua gym 3 times a week, but with a foam belt on and in the deep so there is no pressure on my legs. I feel great in the water and the pain is less. I did a Doppler exam too thinking it might be because of Varicose veins..nothing there too to cause the pain. Just wanted to say my say..and share this with all of you and tell you all..I know exactly how you are feeling!! Its stinks... I'm 53 now was feeling 21 now feeling 70.
