I'll remain calm and focused on the facts, Brent, and I'll refrain from any name-calling. First, I never said it WAS a Mg deficiency, only that if it is a nutrient deficiency, it's likely to be Mg. I think you offered a theory based on a subjective interpretation of what you think a Mg deficiency should look like based on a net search or a book, and on a plant you have never seen. If I am wrong, I apologize, but my being wrong on this point puts you in possession of enough science to argue this point from a scientific perspective, so can we keep it that way, please? I based my reasoning, in part, on the fact that I sent Mike the fertilizer he is using (MG). The fertilizer itself contains NPK, Fe, Mn, and Z. I also added STEM micronutrients to the fertilizer to insure that all nutrients (except the two that are not commonly soluble) would be furnished. The only elements missing from both the fertilizer AND the STEM are Ca and Mg. Though I stated I'm not certain it IS a nutrient deficiency, it's difficult to argue against the logic that IF it is a deficiency, it is almost certainly one of the elements not being supplied (especially since bark and peat based soils are known to be low in both Ca and Mg) or one that is pH induced. We can eliminate the pH induced deficiency of Fe because Mike is growing in a peat/bark blend that he did not lime, which means the pH of the soil is probably quite low, and there is very little or (practically speaking) no Ca or Mg in it. The only other thing that would block uptake of Fe is a toxicity of Mn, and with his fertilizer program, that's not happening. I'll point out again that while experienced plantsmen don't necessarily ignore the photographs offered as being illustrative of deficiency symptoms, they do know that symptoms vary widely, and put far more stock in the known chemical aspects of nutrition that do not vary than in photos or written guidelines that are subjective and guaranteed to vary by plant. Starloc, Might it be because I accidently let that room get to cool at night for a few nights, which in turn cooled the soil at night ? I normally keep the room 65 degrees and up at night, but for a few nights, meaning at least a week, it got down into the high 50's low 60's at night. I warmed it back up again. If you say it could be a nutrient defficiency, or that the plant is upset, could it be that it took up no nutrients when soil was cold at night for a while which in turn caused the leaf problem and drop in this case? Does this make sense? I hope so. I hope it is just a matter of soil temp. I have been keeping the lights on as normal, and now that I am keeping it warmer in there at night, I hope the leaf drop stops. By the way, there is no new leaves replacing the old ones yet. All the fallen leaves are from the bottom and center of tree and through out. When I get new growth, these branches don't fill out again, I just get new growth from the top of the branches while the center stays bare. Strang ha? I am having no problems with all my other citrus other than this "lemon meyer". I am begining to think that "lemon meyers" are a very sensitive plant...lol All it seems they like is very warm conditions and very sunny conditions too. Anything other than this they seem to dislike. To me, I think they are more finicky than my gardenias. Oh well, as long as the branches don't start dying back, I hope it will fill out in summer again. Please let me know what you think ok. Thanks alot.

After just spending almost a $100 on a tub of Estee Lauder face cream (which I do like), I might order the trial from Amazon. This would be funny if not so sad. A couple of months ago I decided to take a picture of myself for my Facebook profile picture. I was home alone, I got all dolled up with makeup. I "struck the pose" about 50 times. After downloading it on the computer, I could NOT believe I have those little red vein thingys! Why didn't anyone tell me? LOL. Guess I should start wearing my glasses when putting my makeup on. :)

I'm wondering if different kinds of lasers give differing results and side effects? I had a series of 4 IPL's done a few years ago through my dermatologist. My skin was a little red afterwards, like a mild sunburn; nothing major for the first three treatments, but I did get some swelling with the final treatment. It did get rid of brown spots ... after a few days they turned dark and then later peeled off. Some around the hairline were not removed completely, but they were lightened significantly. I feel it greatly improved the condition of my skin and the results are long lasting. I get a mid-grade peel every now and then for maintenance. I've not heard of the "staying in a darkened room" restriction after an IPL, but that is the case when IPL or Bluelight is combined with Levulan to treat precancerous lesions (actinic keratosis). Yayagal, I'm wondering if that's what your sister had? Now that involves a scary-looking recovery; very red and much more intense than plain IPL.
