Probably the easist way is to buy Paint Shop Pro 7 and learn how to use the program. there are many filter plug-ins that work in PSP7 that let you make 3-D looking letters, etc. I have made fancy line breaks(dividers), chains, victorian style borders, and a lot of other images for webpages. PSP7 also comes with animation shop 3 for even more moving images you can make. My whole webpage was made with PSP6 and 7.

Thank you JamesS. Are there any freeware programs available that can do the same job.

Hi Char, not sure if you got your guestbook. If you go to the link below, scroll towards the bottom. I use guest gear. You are able to copy the theme of the site with this one. I needed a seperate book for a special Year Of The Rose project I did, and wanted the rose bell as the background. I made a dummy page for this guestbook, so that it mimics the web page. Jen, what I like about the free google stuff is you can play around with it all you want and it's free.. Kind of like test driving to see if spending money would be "worth it" I would do blog & web page; play around with both to see which will do the trick. If you use godaddy, be careful about hosting on their servers. Someone I know had their account hacked then their domain name (URL) was sold to someone else. In the end the person that bought the domain would not give it back to the owner. From what my computer people tell me, GoDaddy is the pits for security and patching holes.

Caligal, it really sounds like you want to stay with your current home. However, I'll just point out that right now the inventory of foreclosed homes gives people unprecedented chances to obtain homes they could not hope to have before and many will not be able to afford in future (let's hope no more such "wonderful" home markets). I don't mean go looking just for a bigger home (although in your case some additional size would be nice), but rather a lifestyle improvement: A decent home in a location that is particularly desirable to you. You know, location, location, location. Things like good schools, a pretty sociable neighborhood, close to family, en route between friends and mall (they'll be dropping in), favorite amenities close by (cows in pastures or high-density shopping, your choice), good proximity and transportion to work. Whatever floats your boat. If you're not already in a place you'd really like to raise your children and even be happy growing old, this current opportunity to make your home there should not be passed up for any but the most important reasons.

This one is Free, might be hard to start with but I would grab a copy (Free registration also) before they decide to charge for it.

James,

I have Eye Candy on my Christmas wish list. I have bookmarked your page.

I'm still learning PSP, and just wrote my first tutorial.

I'm hoping the group in the graphic and scanning forum will get going again after the holidays. It's nice to learn things with/from other people.
