"The only accurate part is..." But they are in complete disorientation to the house and all the angles incorrect. So one couldn't use the plan to count on any sight lines being accurate. It's just not usable for a landscape plan. It might be usable to get a quantity and then work out details on site. But that has a high probability of something not working out.

Thomas Tzeng Either copper or PEX are good choices for piping inside the house. For an existing house I would at least consider PEX because it can be easier to install. The service line (from the street or meter pit to the inside of the house) can be replaced at any time. Galvanized pipe that is 50+ years old is going to be significantly restricted AND will be nearing the end of its intended lifespan. That said, I've had galvanized service lines last 80+ years. If you have the resources, go ahead and replace it. If you don't, it can wait. There's no real compelling reason to do it at the same time. If the service lines are lead - or have lead connections -- replace it ASAP.

Hello, We purchased a condo earlier in the year built in '04. There are 2 built in gas fireplaces. They are pretty standard. See pic. The one in the living room has a burning dusty smell when run. We only ran it maybe twice, and I got a headache and was concerned. So we turned off the pilots on both (since it was summer) and we vacuumed the interior of the living room one, and we still smelled the dusty burning smell. 1- Could this be the logs needing to be replaced? I do not notice the same smell in the upstairs unit, which likely was not used as much. 2- Most places want to charge us 250/unit to service! that seems crazy to me. 3- Another place said they really don't need to be serviced, unless a vent is clogged, in which case they come to clean out the flue. But that otherwise the fireplace and flue do not need to be cleaned. Any thoughts appreciated. I know they sell new log kids. The logs (some of them) have very dark black areas almost seems like they are truly burning a bit.

Indeed you have alot of circuits but dont be concerned with the quantity nor the total of all the beaker amps added. example being those 4 water heater @ 40 A will only draw initiaily at startup and would probably never all run together ever again. The suggestion that induction cooking draws alot is incorrect as it is extremely efficient and draws uses much less energy than a conventional cooktop (just look as the amp rating) youll likely need two panels for the breaker space. The unknown factor you havent detailed is whats going on in those outbuilings. If they sre for blown woodworking shops lets say, then all bets are off. At that point you might consider just bringing in a separate service to the outbuidings. Its done all the time at would be less costly. Just food for thought.
