I don't think I am liking the Nebulous White, too grayed and not enough contrast. Maybe Extra White 7006 would look better LRV 86 it is YG. Should I go darker than Silverplate for even more contrast? Yikes, I don't know what to choose. Ellie Gray 7650 LRV 40, in the GY family might look good with Extra White. Anyone have an opinion about these colors?

I know the numbers. I also know that OP is not wrong because the numbers don't agree with her. She is seeing baby blue and it isn't because of lighting. It is because the color is blue. 10 years from now when the OP looks at her walls she will still see blue. If I were looking for a blue white which white would you suggest? I can look at the fan deck, know without a lick of analysis that Rhinestone is the bluest white. You won't find a white that measures bluer than Rhinestone, which is just barely over 10GY (144). CIE-L*Ch(ab) = 89.015 0.763 146.962° So given that none of the whites measure out as a blue white, most don't even get over a 5GY, so they are more yellow than green, does this mean the SW has only one or two cool whites and all the rest are warm whites and that they have no blue whites? To understand what is going to be seen by our OPs we have to go beyond the hue and note the Light and Chroma. The lower the Chroma the more neutral gray and the more gray the more people see blue. We perceive gray as blue. What I don't want is for this OP to be lulled into a feeling of safe or thinking that she is somehow flawed and unable to perceive color, but seeing blue for the next 10 years until she finally decides to paint again and this time picks a white with more saturation that doesn't look baby blue on her walls.

Asthma is an effect caused by all sorts of things. Most people have inflammation in their lungs and that inflammation makes their lungs twitchy so some trigger, and that is usually very personal, causes the vasoconstriction that not only keeps you from getting air in but also keeps you from getting air out. Triggers can be allergy inducing particles or just any old particle, cold air (very common) hot air and so on. For many people set it off. You can get Asthma from chemical irritants, perfumes are common causes, or poisons, for me mentholated cigarette smoke is a trigger. Those of us with Asthma are at risk with Covid-19 of course. It is a strange that it is not a disease though that is how it is treated. It is a symptom. I can get sneezing attacks from the hot moist air of a shower. I guess I am lucky it would ease asthma for me. Covid 19 can cause sudden massive lung inflammation (ARDS) in some people and have massive out of control asthma. It is frequently fatal.

I went through this same process and tried dozens of paint with SW Creamy trim. Anything with an LRV higher than 60 enhanced the yellow undertones of Creamy. I have Revere Pewter lightened 25% (LRV about 58) in a south facing room and it looks nice. I used RP lightened 50% in a bathroom with Creamy trim and the trim looks more obviously cream and not white. I think about painting the trim and doors a brighter white every time I walk in that bathroom. The only lighter color that seemed to work was creamy walls.
