Help! Soaking Tub Faucet... do I really need a hand shower there?
Comments (11)The Purist line is very pretty indeed! I understand your dilemma, but surely you have more than just the one other choice (the AS faucet)? I've never had a hand shower till two years ago when we remodeled. I have a Bain Ultra tub and a Jado faucet set with handheld. OMGosh! How did I live this long without a handheld :) It's great for ALL the reasons above but it also comes in handy as theapy for sore shoulders or upper back (where my air tub doesn't reach). I'm still finding new uses for it. I promise, you won't be disappointed or feel like you made a wrong decision :) Monica...See MoreFor those of you with exzema...(long)
Comments (26)Don't have excema, but do have the driest hair I've ever seen (borderline thyroid-related) Will have to try the almond oil. My older sister had the worst excema when she was a kid. Her nightie was stuck to her neck every morning and mom had to painfully soak it off. She had it on her head and arms and legs too. She seemed to grow out of it or something as an adult, although she can't use any scented products of any kind. Makeups are tricky for her too. Lucky for her, she doesn't need a lot of make-up yet even at 54 years old....See MoreHelp, how do I get 'Great Stuff' foam off my hands?
Comments (195)Getting Great Stuff foam off your hands can be challenging, but here are a few methods you can try: Use soap and water: Try washing your hands with soap and water, as this may be enough to remove the foam. Use warm water and lather your hands with soap, then scrub the foam off your skin. Use acetone or nail polish remover: Acetone can dissolve Great Stuff foam. Apply some acetone or nail polish remover to a cloth or cotton ball and rub it onto the foam residue on your hands. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after using acetone. Use a pumice stone: A pumice stone can help scrub the foam off your hands. Wet the stone and rub it over the foam residue in a circular motion. This may take some time, but it can be effective....See MoreI have a HOT MESS on my hands, HELP!
Comments (7)I've looked all over to see how to respond to ppl graciously giving their ideas and Im just not savvy -My gramma can even do better than I! lol! I hope you see this! SnoBunnyz24--I actually have that pic pinned on Pintrest. That home is impeccable and has many interesting elements, as well as style, I love it. I did pin for the colors though and also am not sure if I can attach shutters (meeting with stucco guy late May), or even at least create a new wider stucco trim. Some windows have NO trim, only a stucco sill. The skinny leggy porch is actually wood, and I agree, hoping a moulding person can fatten those up! Not sure if storm doors are paintable--Ive been trying to find that answer--great ideas, thank you! housegal200-you are too kind! yes there are multiple surfaces!! If we decide to keep the cement drive, power washing is a GREAT idea I hadn't considered. We have been discussing just removing ALL of it, cement drive, pavers, different rock, etc. But I will certainly consider your suggestion, could save us some $$. Also, we only have one entryway that is drab and hidden under that low porch ceiling. I'd love to open that up somehow or at least bring attention to it. Im not sure my husband would allow a Portico, as drilling into a metal roof is a bit risky. but I like the idea so Ill certainly consider it! Thank you for your time....See MoreUser
