Any good home remedies for Shingles
Comments (9)You MUST see your doctor, if you haven't already. There are meds that can decrease the duration and chance of complications. If you can tolerate OTC pain meds, they can be a little helpful. My first thought went immediately to coconut oil, knowing how helpful it has been for me in healing cuts and burns and other skin issues. It has anti- bacterial and anti-viral properties. Lo and behold, it is listed as a remedy for shingles. I just did some reading on it. You can find organic coconut oil at a health food store.....it is a solid at room temperature and will come in a jar. I'll be sending thoughts of strength your way....please see your doctor. My eldest brother called all of us siblings after he came down with shingles. His mission was to MAKE us promise to get vaccinated as soon as possible. He also said that it was the worst pain that he's ever experienced....See MoreHome Remedies For Cholera
Comments (8)Thanks for that info. Now they are up to 900 and more dead and with it moving through a prison. It's a shame all they need is water. I would do both, drink lots of herbal tinctures. It couldn't hurt. There's still a nutritional loss and the vitamins from most of these herbs can give that. "Since the deaths occurring from the disease are due to severe dehydration, normal hydration level should be maintained in the body. The treatment of the disease is based on oral re-hydration. Oral re-hydration salts are used to make solutions with water. These solutions should be consumed at regular intervals. There are several other oral re-hydration therapies that have been made with household ingredients. Whey water, diluted milk, lime water are some common drinks to maintain water in the body. Along with the above mentioned liquids, broths, juices, weak soups or prepackaged ORS solutions should be taken for cholera cure. You can also boil pulses in excess water, strain and then drink that water to restore energy and maintain hydration in the body. If your cholera is severe, you may need fluid replacements through intravenous injections. The doctor may even give you intravenous antibiotics. However, antibiotics will only get rid of the bacteria. For preventing dehydration, the only solution is to keep drinking enough water and fluids to keep the body hydrated. " It says in the url below coastal salt waters is where this bacteria breeds. I thought salt killed everything. If they burnt their sewage waste, this wouldn't be happening as bad. If they had better community planning training, they might have been able to prevent it, but this is the aftermath of the horrible earthquakes leaving tons of people homeless without clean water. I feel bad for them Thankfully it's a curable sickness, if someone has access to it. Here is a link that might be useful: Cholera...See MoreSimple home remedies that work
