In Central Illinois- usually only see a few towhees the whole summer and have never seen them in the winter. There must have been a small flock of them that spent their days under the feeders in the yard this past weekend. Really enjoying all the photos.

Heres my Kallie, a rescue from a kill shelter in North Carolina. She was about 3 months old when rescued. She’s turning 6 in January. And here's my boy Spencer who we lost a year and a half ago. Still miss him every. Single. Day. And this page wouldn’t be big enough to hold all those pups we’ve had in our lives during our almost 50 years of marriage. Each one has a special place in our hearts.

I can go through my yard next few weeks and see what I can divide. I may be able to divide Living Legacy but I just got it a couple years ago, so it hasn't multiplied much. Fire Danger was purchases last Fall so it will be a couple of years before I can divide that one.

Mike, It's been a strange summer, we seem to have swung between 70-80 and extreme heat all summer. We're finally getting some cooler weather. Even indoors the heat has been a challenge. My big trees did just fine, but my little ones, and the seedlings are barely hanging in there. I think all my plants are a bit confused. My biggest orchid is on its third bloom in 18 months, my fukushu is going through another large bloom for the third time, and my fig decided it was autumn a month ago and has almost shed all of its leaves. Here's some pics: Fukushu kumquat Nagami kumquat Indio mandarinquat. (The cup keeps in moisture so it doesn't dry out so fast). Tangelo seedlings Rangpur lime Just for fun here's the passion fruit that's just seemed to love its new home:
