I think there are a few pros and cons to bare root v in a pot. 1. Bare root trees are much cheaper to ship (duh!). More importantly (to me) is that you usually get to order exactly what you want (variety/varieties, rootstock, age, etc.) vs whatever the local nursery/big box is selling. 2. Trees in pots are usually grown somewhat locally, so you will usually be sold something that will do well in your area. It has a good root system (+/-) and is already established. Since we're all going to dig out a much bigger hole, I don't think the 'native soil' issue is really an issue. 3. Bare root trees are only shipped during certain times and only can only be ordered at certain times. The multi-graft tree I wanted was sold out almost everywhere I ordered (again, a 'bespoke' Dave Wilson multigraft), so I would have had to wait a year. HD had plenty of multi-graft trees on display, 4. Tree quality. The Dave Wilson bare root I received had great, equal grafts. The Santa Rosa plum grafts on the HD trees looked like an afterthought and the branching was terrible. take a look at the pictures as a comparison. Andrew

People who say it's as simple as less calories in than calories out doesn't understand how mental health can play into your diet. That some of us simply cannot do that. I am the type of person who is all or nothing. I have to eat the family sized bag of M&M's or eat none at all. I have to have all the colours of certains craft items or none at all. I have to buy all the craft supplies or none at all. LOL So to say you can have one cookie which is 100 calories now go walk off 150 calories: not going to happen. I would rather not have the cookie. Or I'll simply eat the whole bag of cookies. Which is why rather than go full Keto in the new year, I'll be cutting out all junk food including pop, and trading it in for water which I never get enough of. I'm always dehydrated. I'll be upping my healthy fats. It's why Keto was so easy for me and I'm not 100% sure that cutting junk food out for me will be enough. I was diagnosed a week ago with osteoarthritis in my knee and I know cutting sugar out will help with the inflammation a lot, which is why I decided to try this first. If it's not enough, then 100% keto it is because Keto is all or nothing. Noom and Weight Watchers allow you to eat anything. I can't have one cookie. Tried that. Didn't work. So, I'll ease my way back to what I do know works for me. I'll give my way a month before I'm 100% back on keto. Upping the healthy fats will certainly help with the sugar cravings.

thats a nice score. they aren't cheap. I've done the 2x6 in a herringbone. Please, make sure your tile setter knows how to properly layout a herringbone pattern. you don't just start in the middle and wing it. there's actually math involved to make sure the pattern is symmetrical. Plus, your tiles are irregular. the pattern will get thrown off if he tries to buttjoin them. You'll have to do a dry run on a piece of hardie board or something to see how it comes out. wider grout spaces will give you wiggle room. this is how you determine center. you'll notice on mine both sides are equal. they have the same cuts on either side. this is how you know you started correctly. you want to avoid tiny triangle cuts. I was working w/a limited space and wanted this centered, so I couldn't avoid the smaller cuts. your tiles are even smaller, just make sure you pay the money and hire an expert tile setter because those zellige in a herringbone will take 4X as long to lay out. 2x6 what you could do is a double herringbone. double up so that you have two tile per direction remember, it's not supposed to look perfect. these are handmade tiles.
