Goes to shape: Hexagons [6 sided] are usually called 'Hexes', circles are 'Penny rounds', rectangles are called 'mini subways' [because of the tiles used in subway stations], but I have a feeling they probably had a different name at some point.

Walker Zanger, Mizu tile & it has been discontinued. It is a ceramic crackle with color variation & looks like 2"x 4". You could replicate this look with a hand glazed ceramic crackle tile by another manufacturer, i.e., Sonoma, Fireclay, Heath, Pratt & Larson, Encore & others. Also, try contacting Walker Zanger and ask them if they have a similar tile.

It sounds like lead in the glazing of ceramic tile is not an issue unless you break the tile and send dust into the environment. So the tiler who installs it should wear a mask when cutting the tile, but you are not at risk having intact tile in a good condition in your home.
