Does anyone know which furniture stores in Dallas area that carry the leather furniture from: Leathercraft Bradenton Young

Like said above CL, goodwill, moving sales ect... Today I scored a brand new black leather lined Bentley Prince Street Carpet Company 8x8 area rug for $60, the owner/ designer won it at a show. Last week I scored a like brand new NS design leather sofa with black piping for $150. I also found a chair in the exact lines of sofa in fabric by (Sheril sp?) at my local goodwill for $85 but think I can get it cheaper. I'm getting things for my son and want to do a sort of kinda Jonathon Adler look. I'm having a blast looking for things and can't wait to find some cool stuff with color and other things needed. Felt the same way, in the last few years, about the antique and "junk" stores I used to love to frequent. Until...my daughters started furnishing their own homes. Have found some recent bargains for them both. One particular bargain was a nice, big and round, Regency looking coffee table...solid wood...for a mear $45. In near perfect condition and had the original brass wheels. It made DD and SIL's living room! Goes well with their low couch and wide upholstered chair left by the former owner of their new house. :) Such a great bargain that I did not even haggle. That's the name of the shop. Now anytime DD needs something, we look at the "old" before the new. Been there for over 40-50 years. I have several items of furniture and accessories from the store. It's funny, though. I still see some of the same items that I did back when I shopped 25+ years ago.

I loved reading this post during the week. Now I'm in front of my computer and can participate! We've spent that past four years redecorating most of our small house. Of all that, the only new things purchased were our bedroom furniture, including the bed + a side table, lamp and chair. There are many reasons for buying used furniture, housewares, cars and clothing. #1 I like things I can't afford new. #2 New things are usually too big and bulky for our small bungalow #3 I'm a hunter/scavenger In this room, only the bar cart was new. Everything else was flea market, consignment stores, 1st dibbs and craigslist. The mirror was my grandmothers. Some of these things were definitely not cheap. In this room, only the upholstered furniture, rug and the gold/mirror side table were new. Everything else was a gift or came from consignment stores (near & far), eBay, 1st dibbs, The RealReal and estate sales. Like the other room, not everything in here was cheap, but it was affordable for my budget.
