I have looked at the Pullman Elite. It looked pretty good during its first week of display but as people tried it out.. it doesnt look that great now.

I have bought two recliners from Sams. It has been about 8 months. They look great and are holding up very well.

PS: I am not completely sure but the furniture bought in Sams may be under lifetime warranty. You can check with the clerk at Sams. If that is true.. you dont have worry about the quality as you can return whenever you want. Keep us posted how things go.

I saw the Pullman Elite sofa and loveseat at Sam's Club. I love the red decorative pillows that come with it. I want to buy the pillows only, but Sam's Club won't sell them separately. Anyone know where I can buy them?

I spoke with a friend of mine who is a sales rep for a couple lines and he said that the items at Sams are probably private label. Meaning a furniture manufacturer with a name you may or may not know makes the furniture, and then Sams has their own label name for it. Some furniture stores do this as well.

I have purchased furniture at Costco and have confirmed that the items sold to the warehouse clubs is made specifically for them, and is a lesser quality than the usual line. I am not concerned about my stuff because Costco will stand behind anything for 10 years but I don't know about Sams. It still looks ok, but after a year the fabric quality has become an issue but if I experience any severe quality issues....back to Costco it goes!!!

tyke - we just purchased the sofa and loveseat from sam's club yesterday, but the red pillows don't go with our decor. we'd be happy to sell them to you if you're interested. we're located in chicago.

I also just purchased the "morgan" set tonight. I have been looking at it for months. And actually the couch I got on clearance, it was $100 less than normal because it is the floor model. Let me say, given the color, if its the couch that has been there since they displayed it(many months ago), it has held up just like new. There are a couple of marks, took damp washcloth and patted them AWAY! Rarely do they if ever sell the floor model until they are all gone. Of course, the true test will be time in my house. I have girls and they are pretty neat, so I think it will be OK. I looked everywhere for a review or another person that has purchased it and this is the first time I have seen anything. Thanks! On a side note about the fabric. The woman I work for has a microfiber couch that is the same color, not well taken care of, (they have a great dane that has full use of it) and I took some mild cleaner on a cloth the other day and worked in a circular motion,it took the black (dirt) back to almost the original color. Now I did not work too hard at it, but was encouraged and is mainly what made me go with this set. I hope yours enjoy yours and I know that I asked what if I am not happy with how it holds up, and at my sams they said bring it back no matter what, 1 day or 1 year, it did not matter. Just bring it back. Thats impressive!
