throw it out, or keep it?

Hi-

Yesterday we made Korean grilled beef short ribs that required us to cut the meat from the bones. We did, and decided to make a stock with the leftover bones and meat attached.

It took 4 hours of boiling, and then we turned it off to let it cool (theoretically to put in the freezer). So, I went to bed early-leaving the task to my DH. Needless to say-it's still on the stove.

Reboil the bejeebers out of it and freeze? Or throw it out? I'm not into food poisoning. I've had it before. Not something I'd like to repeat. I'm inclined to throw it away.

Safe or not safe?
